Nice tiles but beware of sizing.
The tiles are a really nice quality for the stick on kind and the color pattern looks very natural to marble. However be mindful when ordering this pattern, you will acquire a lot of wastage. Once the tiles are squared off they are really only 10-3/4”w X 7-3/4”h. So keep that in mind when doing the math to figure out how much you will need for your project.

Looks real! Easy install.
Love this! I do real tile professionally, but I was looking for something that didn’t include demo or permanent tile here. Behind these stuck on tiles is tile just like the floor below in the picture. It worked beautifully. I chose to ignore the directions of cutting off the first edge, just because of my exact dimensions of the fireplace, but it was time consuming to fill in each of the little triangles on the left because I did so. For sure read the directions! Overall, I’m very happy, and I’ve had several home install professionals over and they couldn’t believe me that it was stick on. When you touch it though, it’s certainly a very almost gummy texture. Very slick, but sticks a little, not easy to clean. If they could make the texture more smooth and tile-like, this would be my go-to permanently, but very happy here on the fireplace. Would be a little concerned for backsplash cleaning.

A quick refresh for decent price
I purchased these tiles to update my kitchen backsplash without going through the trouble of ripping out the existing tile and spending the cost to install new ones. Images are the first installation of the peel-and-stick tiles and so far it looks pretty good - sticks well. There are some cracks between the seems of the tiles but that’s because the original backsplash is not an even surface, so I expected some bevelling. Ensure you order extra or double of what you’ve calculated since you will need to cut a good amount to fit. However, I am quite surprised of the over look and quality. Would recommend for a quick fix if you’re looking to refresh a space!

Think again
Overall, it took me a little while to install, I was happy with the aesthetic of it but not thrilled of it not looking absolutely perfect. I will mention the adhesion is awesome, and if you are slightly misaligned then you can peel off and try again and doesn't lose adhesive power. The idea of install was simple enough, measure, cut, peel, stick. The cutting part was the hardest part for me. I tried 2 different box cutters, and 2 differnt pairs of scissors. I still couldn't cut a straight line. It's something in gel that would gunk up the blade before I could make a full cut. At the time, the value was good in comparison to the tile version. Still pricey, it cost about $100 total just for the face of the fireplace, not the floor. That's because herringbone does contain a true sq ft, it's actually less than a sq ft. So buy a few more than you need. Far away it looks awesome, but up close all I see is my mistakes. Some pieces just would not line up correctly. I could have gotten trim to put around the fireplace and caulk it in the places that didn't meet up just right, but that was more work than I planned/wanted to do. I will be re-tiling my fireplace with real tile in the near future.
