Goddard silver dip helped make a silver plated steno serving dish look like new. This was my husband's grandma's that he was given after his parents passed away. It hasn't seen the light of day for years. We found it in the storage room after our move to another state. We been here for 3 years and came across it while reorganizing. I checked on Amazon for a solution that would work. This is a dipping solution but it also said in the description that on larger pieces a cotton ball could be used. The piece is large so it took about an hour to get the project completed. I put the solution in a old plastic dish and started dipping the cotton balls and rubbing over it. The handles and feet are very intricate and took the longest. Washed in hot soapy water and rinsed. I then used the Goddard silver polish cloth to buff it to the most beautiful shine.Mm y husband was really skeptical at first but he was amazed at how beautiful it looked.You need to wear gloves and I would recommend a mask.The results were amazing. I don't think this item will be back in its box anytime soon.

I love this for quick touchups on my silver. It does not smell nearly as harsh as other products. I found they need to be buffed off once dry to help get rid of any minor clouding. Note. I am not suggesting this is a replacement for paste, polish, but can be used in tandem with paste, and or touchups before company arrives.

A great way to easily clean your silver. Does an excellent job and imparts a nice shine. Use in a well ventilated environment to offset the smell. Easy to use.

It's not working and so stinky

Would like the company to answer my question. Why is the smaller jar liquid cleaner clear in color but the gallon size one is blue - it does not seem to clean silver as well!

Fantastic silver cleaner. Silver had not been cleaned in over a decade and this took the tarnish right off with very little scrubbing with a microfiber cloth. Suggest also getting silver polishing cloths to really make your silver shine.

Works very well to remove silver tarnish easily, without rubbing or physical effort..

Silver tea set was absolutely tarnished and I didn't think I could save it, but I got Goddard's and the set looks like new. Absolutely fantastic product.
