Goddard silver dip helped make a silver plated steno serving dish look like new. This was my husband's grandma's that he was given after his parents passed away. It hasn't seen the light of day for years. We found it in the storage room after our move to another state. We been here for 3 years and came across it while reorganizing. I checked on Amazon for a solution that would work. This is a dipping solution but it also said in the description that on larger pieces a cotton ball could be used. The piece is large so it took about an hour to get the project completed. I put the solution in a old plastic dish and started dipping the cotton balls and rubbing over it. The handles and feet are very intricate and took the longest. Washed in hot soapy water and rinsed. I then used the Goddard silver polish cloth to buff it to the most beautiful shine.Mm y husband was really skeptical at first but he was amazed at how beautiful it looked.You need to wear gloves and I would recommend a mask.The results were amazing. I don't think this item will be back in its box anytime soon.

Purchased the large 1gallon bottle because of the positive reviews. Big mistake!! First tried it on a sterling silver necklace. After 30 minutes there was no change in the tarnish. Next tried it on two sterling silver spoons. Again, no change. I feel like I was scammed. If zero stars was an option, it would get minus zero. Lesson learned.

A great way to easily clean your silver. Does an excellent job and imparts a nice shine. Use in a well ventilated environment to offset the smell. Easy to use.

I bought this solution to clean all my silverware and silver jewelry and I didn’t think it will do the job. Well I was wrong! This is so good it cleaned all my jewelry and silverware in just a few minutes. I will buy this again before it becomes too popular and price goes up. I does have a weird smell when you dip your silver in it and I used a mask, but it won’t stop me from using it or buying it.

I couldn’t be more pleased with this product! I have a silver tea set that was my mother’s and probably about 75 years old. It hasn’t been polished in over 30 years and this brought the set back to its original glory!!! Easy to use, doesn’t smell bad and works quickly!!
