Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes Of An Elusive Age - Definitive Edition (PS4)

I am couple years late to this game but boy was I glad I picked it up! By the time I finished the game, I have clocked over 200 hours and THAT is me playing it with a guide! The plot starts out simple and at one point, I even thought how predictable this is. So glad I was wrong!! The way the plot were set up lay out lot of surprise when you revisit the same people/village later on the game. Without spoiling the plot, this game does not end when you defeat the final boss, in fact, the game has so much going on, I could not put it down. The battle system is simple and fun. Though it's repetitive but I am totally fine with it. This game is amazing and everyone owe themselves playing through it at least once!

The last dragon quest I played was 8. I liked it. But this game is fantastic and amazing. Way better than any other dragon warrior or dragon quest. It did everything you could do in this game almost. I'm missing some costumes for the platinum trophy

Been trying to get this game for YEARS. The Dragon Quest series is classic RPG gaming at its finest. The battle system is tried and true, yet still feels fresh. The story is pretty convoluted at first, but by the end of the game it all makes sense and is well worth the time spent playing. Closest game I'd say to that vibe is Final Fantasy XV. Buy DQ11 and enjoy yourself, even if only for the story alone. The gameplay will get you there and you'll appreciate the full package by then.

The media could not be loaded. This is such a an enjoyable game that I had to buy the definitive edition. The story as well as the characters are both interesting. I'm sure I'll be playing thsi game again bc it does have different way to tackle the story. Skill trees where you vna chose which weapons/magic/buffs you want to use. Definitely recommend to anyone that is into this series as well as brand new players. All the added content to the definitive edition is a huge plus as well. You can get several more hours of game time.I included a video of someone frying up some sausages bc there are only 2 or 3 people in the game doing it, and bc it cracks me up.

DQ is the definition of constancy really a cool game

I grew up on turn-based RPG's. This feels like being a teen again. There are multiple reasons this game is consistently rated at the very top of the genre. It really is that good.
