Would this be sized appropriately to go with a children's farm toy? (as in little plastic farm animals and wooden structures)

What are the measurements of the ducks themselves?

The ducks are tiny- maybe 1/4 to 3/8 inch. Mother duck is twice that. The pond is actually larger than I wanted. Does not fit in my 16 inch fairy garden unless I used all the available center space. It is cute. I have it beside the fairy garden.

are the ducks attached to the pond?

Yes. I left it out all summer, brought it in this fall. When cleaning it up, two ducks came off. I glued them back on.

Could the ducks be removed with a dremmel tool, to make an open pond?

You could try. I would not. The water is a smooth polished surface. The ducks are also really stuck on there. So even if you were successful at removing them, there’s the possibility of chipping the water (or damaging another aspect of the pond) and then you have 7 spots that will need to be touched up some how because it won’t be shiny.
