He loves this.
I originally got this because supposedly is supposed to help with stomach upset. So I wanted to have a bottle of it in the house so that we could make sodas really quick if somebody hasn't upset stomach. I also have their Ginger flavored one. Which I will drink as a soda. I actually prefer it to the store bought Ginger ale.But this is for the cola. My husband used to live on coca-cola. And over the years I was able to get him to cut down on that considerably because of the amount of sugar. But he's still enjoys the occasional coke. Normally the off-brand, as we have had to cut expenses quite a bit over the years as we have added children to our household LOL. So we don't generally buy the Coca-Cola brand. He likes this as much or more than the Coca-Cola brands. We have also tried the slushy kind in the gallon jug. He says this is definitely better. I'm not a huge Coke drinker but I have tasted them side by side just to see because he was trying them and asked me to. And I definitely prefer the flavor of this little bottle even though it's a lot more expensive. If I'm going to have a coke. I would definitely prefer this over a store-bought Coke. And I like that it really comes from natural sources. So it is better for you and it's supposed to help with your upset stomach. I can't attest to that yet because nobody has had a stomach bug or anything for us to use this yet and he already drank the entire bottle, and this is our second order that I'm reviewing now. So we will see. If we end up with a stomach bug and this helps someone's stomach I'll come back and update the review.

Good flavor
I bought this to use to flavor my kombucha batches. I really like it! It’s a good product and I use it with seltzer so I can control how sweet it gets. Haven’t come up with other uses yet but for what I’ve used it for, I like the flavor!

Delicious but make sure you read the details...more like an "Italian Soda" syrup.
So this is a crafted, premium root beer syrup. It is definitely not like a basic, super-sweet, off-the-shelf flavor. And it is also significantly lower in sugar (and much less sweet) than most off-the-shelf or big brand concentrates I've had.I got this to add to carbonated water from our SodaStream. When I went back and looked at the details, I realized one full bottle of this concentrate makes one gallon of "normal strength" root beer, meaning the same flavor potency, color, and viscosity you get from off-the-shelf brands like A&W, Barq's, or Sprecher. So for those using the 1L SodaStream bottles, a bottle of this concentrate will make a little less than 4 bottles of full potency root beer. So more than $4/bottle (rounding up for tax). That said, the flavor is strong so you don't need a lot to make a flavorful fizzy drink. Making it more like an Italian Soda works great if you are fine with the appearance and consistency being similar to a watered down soda. And the flavor is nice and complex. It doesn't taste like the off-the-shelf stuff that are primarily artificial sassafras flavoring and sugar (or sugar replacer). With this concentrate, you can taste both the combination of flavors, as well as distinct notes of spices and herbs. The cane sugar takes a back seat to other flavors like brown sugar, sasparilla root, vanilla and the mix of spices like clove, anise, and others. It has a balanced spice flavor without being hot/spicy.It's a nicely balanced syrup, just know what you're getting. Our household (of mixed ages) likes it, which is great because I can worry less about the massive amount of sugar that other root beer concentrates have. And we're happy just adding enough to give a drink some flavor of this without needing it to be as dark or thick as traditional root beer (though I did over 1/4 of the bottle trying to make it that way before I went back and read the details more thoroughly). This would be fantastic in mocktails or cocktails. I plan to add some of this to the dairy-free frozen banana "ice cream" we make to punch it up over the vanilla we usually use.

No flavor. Don't waste your money
I would stay away from this. Has no cola flavor, it pretty much tastes like clove syrup. It isn't sweetened enough either. I used the recipe on the bottle and it tasted like lightly sweetened clove syrup. Don't waste your money

What food used to be, real
Root beer wasn’t what I expected, but I’ve had almost every other flavor. Great products made with real ingredients. Highly recommend.

Good if you like sassafras
Not what I expected. I was thinking it would be more like modern day root beer and instead, it tasted more like old fashioned sassafras. While I like sassafras, I was expecting root beer like the Torani root beer syrup. It's good, but not what I was expecting.
