works amazing but a bit wide
I got this for my mother who suffered a stroke and has a hard time sitting up. This chair allows her to relax and they can practically lay completely flat. My mother also has hypotension and can faint rather easily so this chair works great in a bind when I need to quick lat her flat and elevate her feet to bring her too. However, it is a bid wide. I sandwich her in with two small pillows. I also got side wedges that Velcro on to help keep her center on the wheelchair. Surprisingly enough, this wheelchair is fairly light considering its bulkiness! Works great for a reasonable price.

Very useful
Picked this up for my mother with dementia. It makes getting her around the house and a comfortable place to sit up or lay back with me. I will say that for skinnier people or wiggly ones, the leg rests don't work that great for her so I put a pillow down on them for her to make a more solid base. The extended back is removable so you can pop it on and off when you need to and it takes no time at all, wonderful perk! Last note to make on this product is that the wheels will be horrible outside as they are smooth and hard with no tredding. It's a little stiff on carpeting but rolls beautifully on hardwood and tiling.

Doesn't Have Desk-Length Arms
We received the standard size wheelchair from a DME Medicare supplier and didn't like the small basic design. We found this wheelchair and thought it was worth the affordable price to try instead. We like it. The recline does not have preset notches. It will recline to any angle. The elevated legs work great. Likewise, the extended seat back and head rest works great and is added comfort. The seat is very roomy and comfortable. But like most wheelchairs, a cushion is needed to make it truly comfortable to sit in. I am not sure why the description says desk-length arms. They are short like the one in the picture I have posted. I'm sure if you spend a great deal of time in a wheelchair, you would want something better than this one. However, if you need an affordable wheelchair for occasional transport and trips. This will work great for your needs.

Width can be reduced from 29” to 27” by removing hand rails on wheels
At first I was disappointed to discover this wheelchair was 29” wide from the factory as opposed to 27” for our existing MedLine chair and wouldn’t go through half of our doorways. Since we are only using it as an assisted movement chair I unscrewed the hand rails from both wheels and brought the width down to 27” which fits through all of our doorways.

The welds are weak!!!!! They WILL BREAK even when using with someone WELL under the weight limit!!!!
The welds broke!!!! Completely useless now. We have babied this chair, no water contact, indoor use only until it broke. Took it outside to take pictures but other than that it has been indoors. Now my mother is stuck in bed 24/7. I’m so mad!!!!

Perfect
I've been a nurse for over 10 years. I know my way around using wheelchairs. A family member was recently in a accident and I chose to purchase this instead of renting one. It is exactly like the ones I use in the hospital setting and it was perfect for what we needed. Highly recommend.

Great Purchase - It's sturdy, reclines, and works well.
This Medline reclining wheelchair is taller than a standard wheelchair. It has a head cushion. It reclines and has longer leg rests compared to a standard wheelchair. It appears to be sturdy, well-built, reliable, comfortable, and reasonably priced. It was delivered quickly. It can fit through standard 36 inch door frames. Leg rests are detachable. A+.
