Upon opening the package that contained my new LED desklamp I was concerned seeing how small the lamp box was, but once open I was at ease. This lamp packs small and when folded is rather compact. It's a clean simple design with nothing more than a clean looking functional LED lamp. It's was super easy to clamp on my work table and hasn't come loose in the week and a half since I first clamped it on. I like the adjustable light color and easily cycled through to find the one best suited to my room and work. The level, or brightness cycles by holding either the Plus, or Minus; not clicking as I had originally thought. I will say that this lamp will not illuminate your room, so I wouldn't expect that. The beauty of this desklamp is that you can adjust it directly over your work whatever that may be. That versatility is what this is all about and where it shines, pun intended. I have moved and adjusted the lamp many times pulling it closer to illuminate my work and to date I'm very satisfied and the lamp hasn't loosened up, or become wobbly and has proven stable. One last item this lamp doesn't plug directly plug into a 110 volt outlet. A powered USB port is required, but most of us have those leftover from old phones etc.

It does the job I got it for perfectly! It's bright, but dimmable, easy to set up, and the price is great imo. I don't have usb's on the back of my monitors to plug it in but it does come with a usb converter plug. I found the usb to fit loosely in the port however. I didn't care as I had other usb ports to use so I just tossed the wall plug. I have never liked switches built into cords on anything (like this lamp has), so I zip tied mine to the lamp. I am sure this type of switch keeps cost down and I was aware where the switch was when I bought it. I think this switch style gives it a bit more versatility anyway. If I mounted it on the back of my desk (if I had no wall there) I could have stuck it to the desk. I think if your expecting the fit and finish of a much higher priced lamp, you'll be disappointed, but it you just want some light over a desk, without spending upwards of a $100 or more, and the style is good for you, you'll be very pleased. I am. The biggest downside to the lamp is now I can see the dust on my infrequently used home office and have to clean. Be careful what you wish for!

After several months of using this lamp I must say this is a great product. Very sleek and easy to use although the switch is on the incoming cable so for some applications turning it on and off may be a chore. The brightness is good the color shifts are good. Using a USB power source is so much better than the old halogen lamps which had a giant brick as a power adapter. Worked especially well for my application since it’s clamped on a shelf above my desk so the hanging cable with the switch on it is very convenient for me. But again if you were mounting it to the side of a desk you’ll need to find a way to pull the cable back up a bit onto the desktop so you have a power switch accessible

Overall I am very pleased with this lamp, especially considering the low cost. I was concerned when ordering that the lamp would not clamp into my desk to be stable. This concern was due to the design of my desk not necessarily the design of the lamp. My desk is a very basic design, with an approximately 1.5 inch "tabletop" attached to a metal frame. The clamp does not open wide enough to fit over the thickness of the tabletop and metal frame. There is approximately .5 inch lip beyond the metal frame. I wasn't able to slide the entire clamp onto the lip but it did attach securely enough to the .5 inch to be stable. The lamp provides sufficient light, it has multiple brightness/warmness settings which is nice but I doubt I'll use anything other than the highest setting as the goal for purchasing this lamp was to provide light for a work area which isn't a well lit area in my home. Adjusting the position is easy and dials used to keep the selected in place work well. The only recommendation I would make would be to make the middle joint so it has the ability left/right rather than just up/ down (see second pic). This would not be needed if the front of my desk were not positioned directly against a wall so I don't really consider this a true design failure. I should've looked more closely and considered the design functionality in relation to my particular setup prior to purchasing. The light still provides sufficient brightness for me to see what I'm doing and to read documents without being able to turn the arm for the lamp to be directly over my keyboard.

Saw this lamp in a post involving someone showcasing their desktop and thought it looked great. Ordered it myself and am very pleased & impressed with: a) ease of setting up, comes with a mount and a wall brick for the usb cable b) the features has a blue light, yellow light and a white light both with very good luminace c) and the style of lamp allows for different heights and coverage that adjusting it is a cake walk and covers my whole desk. I highly recommend it if you want something easy to setup and use while having a sophisticated look to it.

The media could not be loaded. The LED lamp is for me one of the best purchase I made speaking about school matters. I am an architecture major in college and I have been using these for a couple of weeks since I am diving into drawing techniques and difficult times to work with vellum paper with so low light in my room. For its use, I placed it in a small-cube shelf next to my drawing table, the flexibility of the lamp helps me to modify what portion I need to see facing the clarity. I like how adjustable it is, I recommend it if you are having a tough time while drawing without so much light.
