The directions aren't great, but it is easy to figure out how it all goes together. I Leaned on the ECS Tuning install instructions and also used their trim/molding tool kit. The only major difference is that this kit has a single ground for the lights rather than individual grounds. I mounted the ground to the negative battery terminal. The U-shaped terminals for the power and ground are pretty thin. I needed to replace the one connecting to the negative battery terminal as the original shredded when tightened.I zip-tied the relay and the fuse together and made a little bracket to fasten them in one spot near the battery and fuses.This kit includes a generic switch but I used a Euro switch instead. To use the euro switch I cut the wire from the 3-pin plug/socket of the generic switch (that lead back to the rest of the harness) and then used a butt connector so I could connect a wire with the proper euro-switch terminal. The proper terminal comes on the trigger wire part # 000979009 (preferably the generic equivalent as the genuine part is ridiculously expensive) and you could cut that in half to use it. I instead went to a local euro auto shop with a junk yard and extracted the wires from an old MK5 connector. Some people use that same trigger wire in case they want to install the rear fog lights but I have no intention of ever doing so.I used name brand 9006 bulbs as I didn't know what the life rating of the bulbs were that came with the kit. Visually they looked to be of high-quality.

Perfect fit for my 2011 vw jetta sportwagen. These came with everything needed to upgrade to fog lights even the wiring harness and switch. These foglights fit great and look excellent A++

Does not fit 2011 VW Jetta. Past return window, so I am stuck with them.

Easy to install, toughest part is you have to take out your battery to run the wiring through to the inside of your car, otherwise great bang for your buck. The headlights themselves are great quality

Decent fog light. Added this to my 2011 VW Golf. Can't speak for the switch harness as I used a aftermarket Euro switch for control. I do wish there was an option for black trim rings instead of the chrome. I popped out the trim rings and painted them black.

Pretty easy install and the quality seems good. Looks just like if it was factory. The only reason for 4 stars is they send it with a switch instead of making it fit a factory euro headlight switch which is the way I think most people instal these. That means a little bit of modification to make it work that way but not hard to do.

Easier than scrambling eggs.The wires are a little tangled. the only complaint i have is: There are no instructions. If you have a basic idea of electronics this wont be hard.Taking the old ones out is easy and installing these would only take you 30 minutes tops. they look fantastic! and they DONT LOOK LIKE A GTI!!! thank god, because i like the bug lights better. old school baby.

The product is excellent, especially at the price point for the product.I would highly recommend going to a size 9006/HB4 LED bulb.The instructions weren't the best and frankly could have been improved with a more helpful diagram of the installation process. It felt like I would snap my OEM fog covers in half just trying to get the product installed and removed again for adjustments. This product should also have instructions on the best way to route the wire hardness and inform you of the firewall location. Through the inside of the front bumper cover along the bottom of the lower grill.
