I got this to avoid having to deal with canned pumpkin to supplement my cat's food. He has trouble with constipation and needs the added pumpkin to keep him regular. I wish the manufacturer told us how much of this is the equivalent of canned pumpkin, but based on my cat's response, 1 teaspoon of this powder works about the same as 2 Tbsp of canned. Taste/odor not an issue, my cat didn't even notice when I made the switch.

We use this product as a topper on our dogs food. They love it.

I bought this for my dog. She did not have any Constipation since taking this 4 times a week. Better results than the other products I tried in the past.

I have a border collie/aussie mix. She has an incredibly sensitive stomach. I do a lot of things to avoid problems, but sometimes she has issues even if she's not eaten anything out of the ordinary.I started looking for pumpkin powders to help with this. I've tried a few brands at this point.Pro 1: The amount you get for the price here is exceptional. $15 for 16 ounces. Most of the other brands on here are $15 to $20+ for 8 ounces. I've tried a few brands and have noticed no difference in actual quality whatsoever.Pro 2: My dog loves all of the pumpkin powders I've tried. She waits for it and licks every last corner of the bowl at the end. She likes this one just as much as any more expensive brand I've tried, making them even less appealing.Pro 3: It works. My dog goes regularly and it's easier to pick up after her. Her stomach problems are lessened when eating this.Con: This is finer than a lot of what competitors seem to offer. I bet this is good for cooking, but with my dog it's messier because of this. Just by eating, the small amount of her saliva that comes in contact with this powder makes it start turning into a bit of a paste. It's not a big deal, sometimes she's just messier and winds up licking it off of her lips for a bit.That's the only con I can think of and I'm nitpicking. In my experience, buying anything else for this purpose is just throwing money away.

My two previous order were good. My recent order had a smell and it was darker in color. I had to throw away the whole bag.

Was hoping it would add flavor to my pumkin bread. No such luck
