Marcy Flat Utility Weight Bench for Home Gym Weight Training and Ab Exercises

I'm so-so about Marcy products, they are so hit-and-miss sometimes. But I have had this bench for six years. It does not see daily use, but it sees use a couple times or more a week. Still in good shape. Has been mostly either in my garage or my basement.

I love this bench. I bought it 10 years ago for $40. I'd buy it again at its current price. The thing is I don't need to. The bench I bought 10 years ago is in excellent condition even after years of regular use. I imagine taller lifters may consider this bench a bit short in length, but its size is also why I love it so much. Small enough to tuck away when not in use. Light enough to move with ease. Its a very simple, sturdy, lightweight bench that does the job. Can you fold it? Nope. Can you change its angle? Nope. It doesn't have bells and whistles, but its usually the bells and whistles that break on products. If you are in the market for a basic weightlifting bench, look no further.

This flat bench isn't anything special but it's strong enough to hold me and pretty sturdy with all the bolts/screws tightened.It's also pretty affordable at around $70.Made in China

I am 5’2” and my feet cannot reach the floor while laying down on the bench. It makes it very unsafe for my back and body. So my recommendation is to pass if you are my height. I’m not sure what to do to make it safe and will need to return. The bench part needed to be longer for me. It’s a stable product if you are taller.

Perfect size and easy assembly. A simple design. Cushion is holding up great. Well worth the money

Well made very sturdy. Though had to leave one screw of eight that holds the bench to the legs out due to poor alignment would have to cross thread to make it work. Since Amazon won’t unlock my account this is the last purchase I made. Will not make another Amazon purchase! Have cancelled my Prime membership. Amazon directions for 2 step verification recovery are false. It doesn’t work! I will shop Temu, Walmart and Costco. Amazon doesn’t care about its customers. With a locked account you can’t talk by phone to a real person. Chat customer service is only good for issues with orders. My account will sit idle. Till all the ice in Antarctica melts!

This bench arrived well-packaged and undamaged. The screws, washer, nuts, and 2 hex Allen wrenches were presented in a vacuum-sealed package. The only tool the user needs to supply is an adjustable wrench.The spot welds did not have any gaps or cracks. The powder coat has a slightly rough texture, but coated all of the metal. The rubber ends for the feet insert into the metal frame rather than wrapping around it. The vinyl bench cover was in perfect condition with no gaps where it was attached to the bench.Assembly was easy. The holes for the screws are not precision-placed, so start all 4 screws that adjoin the frame to each foot before tightening. Same thing with the 2 screws adjoining each end of the frame to the underside of the bench.I am a small frame woman and I anticipate that this bench will serve me well for many years.
