Motherboard 2.0 9pin USB Header 1 to 4 Extension Hub Splitter Adapter - Converter USB 2.0 Female to 4 Female - 30CM USB 9-pin Internal Cable 9 pin Connector Adapter Port Multiplier

I purchased some new fans that require a USB hub but all of my USB ports were in use. This plugged straight into the motherboard and turned one port on the motherboard into four ports. It worked perfectly with no need to install any additional software.

I recently had to purchase a pcie Wi-Fi card for my PC as our BT router stopped giving me decent bandwidth over a LAN connection (maybe the powerline adapter had something to do with it). The pcie card required the use of an internal USB 2.0 header. My motherboard had a total of two internal USB 2.0 headers. One was being used by the front USB ports, the other was taken up with my cooling/RGB setup.I needed to find a way to double the number of headers easily. I had done a search on the Overclockers UK site and discovered this model. I did a quick Amazon search and found then on sale here too. Although I was hesitant seeing someone managed to fry their motherboard, most of the reviews appeared positive, so I went for it.I'm competent at building PC's having built many over the past 25 years, but I had never had to do this before. I turned my PC off and made sure I turned the PSU switch off also, grounded myself and then opened my PC's side panel, cleaned the area I wanted to stick the additional ports to, plugged it into the motherboard and plugged both USB cables including the new pcie card into two of the ports, leaving me two spare ports for future use.I powered up my PC. No problems detected. I watched as my PC came to life and everything was working fine. My front USB 2.0 ports were working again and my new pcie Wi-Fi card was also working. Happy days!

I was a little bit concerned when I saw that my motherboard only came with one internal USB header, as I had a bunch of components that I wanted to plug in that all needed to use it.This splitter works great, and separates out the USB header into four "ports", so multiple devices can connect to it. They're all recognised as separate devices in my operating system, too, which is a relief.The splitter is separated into two sections (two headers on each) which can be attached to different places on your case thanks to having a sticky pad on the back.Perhaps a little more expensive than I was hoping to pay, but that's the only downside.

Feels like really good quality. I was especially pleased with the length of the cable going to the MB (it looked like it might be a bit short in the pictures, but it's decent) and that it comes with 2 sticky pads attached so you can fix it to the inside of your case. Works as advertised - even though I misaligned the pins/header on my first go. Whoops... somehow I managed not to fry anything. Good product, would recommend.

I bought this because my motherboard needed two internal usb ports but it had only one available. It lasted 5-6 months and now it regularly disconnects and reconnects. I'd recommend other brands.

Almost fried pc shorted out psu luckily psu has oc protection stay well away more badly made chinese crap

Does what it says, build quality isn't the best but it works so can't really fault it, not yet anyway!

I like the ease of fitting and take one slot expanded to 4.
