Much better than regular bentonite. Lasts almost the same. Don't worry about it's 2.5kg weight. It will be almost near the volume of 5kg bentonite, as these are lighter than bentonite. So both almost costs the same.Pros :● Smells very low. Used Green Tea and Lavender both.On a Smell Scale, high to low,Bentonite>Green Tea Tofu>Lavender Tofu.● Less tracking than bentonite globules.● Breath-friendly, cat friendly, and very helpful for any allergic-to-dust pet parent.Cons :● Clumping Time/Absorbency Rate is little lower than bentonite. Takes 1-2 mins to form a good clump, where good clay will clump in few seconds.

I like this brand as it had worked for me before, but this particular fragrance and batch was a complete failure. Probably a fake/inferior quality product? It didn't have a good smell, clumping quality was negative (the urine never clumped, it just disintegrated and mixed with the rest of the litter), and there was such a stink that my cat got sick using the litter for 2 weeks (he started overgrooming herself, getting stress zoomies and losng hair on his spine so much, and it all stopped once I threw out this litter). Not recommended.

Writing review after 3 months of use.This tofu litter is substantially better than clay but does have its own issues. It is better because you can easily flush it, clumps better and absorbs odour better than clay. It will also last longer than clay for the amount you are buying.However, one of the biggest issues is the dusty/powdery residue that appears after few day of use. It is hard to clean unless you are cleaning the whole litterbox. After 1.5 weeks of use (while turning the litter to keep it fresh which you are supposed to do), there will be a faint urine smell which may be unpleasant if you have an indoor only cat (which I do).Overall, much better bang for your buck compared to clay litter. Go for it.

I have been using it so long, never reviewed it. It's excellent. Especially for those who can't use bentonite litter due to any restriction, this is the best solution to just use and flush it.

The packet i received had rancid smell. It was not vaccum sealed which had resulted in it becoming rancid. I had been using for 10 days now and more than half quantity over. It may not last for a month also. U can expect a maximum of 3 weeks, not more than that. It does clump decently . I had previously bought Cature brand litter which was 2.3kgs only( this one has 2.5kgs). Tha too lasted for around 3 wks only. Cature litter was more softer and clumped easily and better than this one. This brand has much firmer litter and so takes time to clump resulting in the litter getting wasted as a lot of firm litter(which hadn't clumped yet) gets stuck to wet ones and has to be eventually discarded along with clumped ones. This is causing unnecessary wastage of litter. Keeping into consideration these things, tofu litter doesn't seem economical but is still a good flushable litter option

Its is the best kind of litter i hv ever used. My cats are happy.Superb dust control. There is no dust or any kind of smudging unless my cats paws are wet.The thing about odour control is that if u dnt clean the litter box atleast once a day, even if u use the best kind of litter, it will definitely stink. So with best practices, i have absolutely no odour issues.And most importantly its flushable and eco friendly, so i am happy, so are my cats!

I have been using this one since over a year, the corn and green tea fragrances are mild and good for cats, lavender is too overpowering. If i felt it, one can imagine how it will be for cats as their sense of smell is much more than humans. Otherwise there is less dust in this litter compared to other brands. I have referred this one to other car parents as well.

I recieved old 2023 batch which has gone bad. Smells really bad and many pellets are brown to black. It looks worst than 3 month old used litter I discarded for this and nowhere smells like green tea. Avoid this.
