Sierra 23-6400 Marine Generator Parts, Anode, Westerbeke 11885, Kohler 260085

It's a disposable zinc... not sure what there is to review. It works. Only caveat is there is no thread tape on the zinc. I've seen some debate if you should use pipe dope or Teflon tape... i used teflon tape. the picture makes it seem like it comes with a sealant on it.. it does not.Either way, this worked with my Kohler 5e genset no problem

Working very well and this is my second one in 2 months. Only because I had to use barnacles buster buster buster to clean the xchanger and I was not able to pull the older zinc out and the barnacle buster ate the zinc. However I kept the actual part that screws into the exchanger so I can use it when or if I have to use barnacle buster again. Oh for the westerbeke 20B Two (Mitsubishi L2e) the zinc has to be trimmed to fit. Just take about 1/2 in off the length and it fits

Perfect fit for my Kohler 5ECD marine generator - when used in salt water environment your anode won't last long...so replace often to protect your heat exchanger!
