Larger than expected
The roll is big! Not sure why I was expecting something the size of a duct tape roll, and thin foam. This is the opposite, large, wide roll. Now I see the $30 value. Weather stripping of this size would probably cost more. Basically what it is….

So far so great
I got to the point where it was driving me crazy. The futon mattress was big and heavy and almost every day, I had to shift it back up after it slid down by a foot or two. It didn't help but the dogs love to jump up and down on it (they take over the futon for the window view). So when I wanted to solve the problem, I went all out and I bought this product, plus some mattress guard things (like metal square tabs that clamp to the frame). This was because before I bought stuff, I heard that this was nothing but foam with adhesive on the back and someone said that it didn't prevent the sliding 100%. While it is indeed foam with adhesive on the back, I was amazed that for me, it has worked perfectly. This big heavy mattress has not really slid down an inch since I got it almost a month ago, and the dogs have still continued to jump up and down daily. Maybe part of this is because I put extra foam pieces. It's only recommended that you do every other slat or every third slat. There isn't enough material to get a strip down each, but I found that if you cut little pieces off, That can still add to the grip. I'm not sure if that even helped, but whatever it is, my mattress isn't sliding. I'm not sure why that other person said the siding problems continued; I wonder if if it's because I have a different kind of fabric cover? (Microfiber velvety) Whatever it is, it works well enough that I actually returned the clamp on mattress guards. This stuff sticks so strongly and that little little bit of friction from the foam seems to be working great.

Holding up the heaviest (probably) futon mattress in America
My futon mattress was already quite heavy but when I ordered a solid new cover for it, there was some bagging, so I bought a 3 inch mattress topper. That made it even heavier. I did not dream it was possible but, this handy little roll of tape is beautifully keeping this mattress on its frame, and I could not be happier. No more trying to hoist the darn thing back up onto the frame while the dogs, thinking it’s a wrestling game, dance around my legs, trying to knock me on my butt. Now if they could come up with something that would keep dogs from snagging a very expensive futon cover while playing their reindeer games, all would be right with the world.

Easy to apply
Easy to apply once you measure one strip of foam tape you have them all. It does keep the sliding futon mattress up and in position well.

Exactly what you need!
If you have issue with your futon slipping on its wooden frame, this product is your solution! I disliked the price but went for it anyway and boy, its value is well beyond its cost. 0 slipping since installing the strips and my futon is my main couch used daily. It’s pretty self explanatory so hard to mess up if you have hands and a brain.

Wow! it really does work!
I wont lie, when i received it, i thought it was just a cheap piece of grab foam strip with some adhesive. I was WRONG. I was extra skeptical cause of my futons design (the slats are spaced wider than the strip could cover). That being said, i put both strips on and it HOLDS. Im using an old mattress (Queen) that was slipping all over the frame I got. But no, this thing is holding on like a champ. The only """"downsides"""" i can see, is that it is meant for a full size, not a queen sized futon. But thats it, it still works for mine so im super happy

1 roll does not cover a queen sized futon if not strectched while applying
I have 2 queen sized futon, I bought 2 rolls, 1 for each as it was my understanding that 1 roll was needed for each. I read & followed the instructions and mid way on futon #1 realized that the roll was not going to cover the entire futon. So, I began to stick & slightly stretch to make it go further. Long story short, had to buy another roll @ $20 to finish the 2nd futon.

Genius invention
This is the best thing.I have had a futon for years and the slip has been the stupidest thing. It would make the couch so uncomfortable. I tied ropes on the corners to stop it from slipping but the rope was a very temporary solution before it would slip off the frame or come untied. The other day I decided I have had enough of being uncomfortable on my very nice futon couch. I decide to google how to stop your futon from slipping off the frame. And this product showed up. I started reading through the reviews on here and came across a review from E. Ray about them having a lot of dogs and this product was amazing. So I was sold and I bought it. I got it yesterday which was a Wednesday after ordering it on saturday so fast shiping and I immediately put it on. To put it on was so easy and kind of fun to put on the frame and a perfect amount for my queen size frame I have. I put a strip on every other slat on my frame on the bottom and ever 3 on the top. So about 7 strips on the bottom and 5 on the top at 25 inches a strip. Then the moment of truth. Will it hold? And omg did it hold. I even pulled on it to see if it would budge and not an inch!!! If you have a futon this is the way to go. I have tried so many other solutions that were crap compared to this magical roll of amazingness. I can not say enough about how perfect this product is.
