I bought this to learn with.. and I am enjoying it immensely! For the price you get an awful lot of tips. I love it! A few reviews state that the handle gets very warm after a bit of use.. but I have heard most all of them do. lol They sell finger slip guards and I would suggest getting a set! Overall.. for the price you cannot beat it. As someone mentioned tho, I wish the cord was longer.. but not gonna knock a star off for that. Maybe with enough feedback they will fix that ;)

Bought this wood burner for my husband and I’ve actually been using it for crafts. Overall I’ve never owend a wood burner so this one is all I have to go off of but I love it. The only thing is I wish the chord was a tad bit longer. It comes with several different head replacements and carvers. It does get really hot and I’ve noticed if you have it on for over 2 hours or close to that it’s hard to grip because it gets hot and the quality of my work decreased a bit because the gun was engraving differently at that point. Overall, I am pleased with what we use it for

Love this tool! It came with so many tips for the price. I've just started playing with it and can't wait to get more creative. Playing with the tips for testing in the picture.

I bought it because it was inexpensive and i im just messing around. It heated up in 4-5 minutes. Would not recommend for serious users: handle gets warm, screw on tips got loose and i had to tighten them with a wrench (since they were hot), on max temp setting the metal discolored quickly, longer 2 inch tip did not work and i thought i would have to return it but i switched to the 1/4 inch tip and it worked- it made the design in the pic. I will probably only ever use a few of the 100 tips. Its good for my amateur projects. It got 4 stars instead of 3 because of the cost. There was no way i was going to spend $100 on something i wont use often.

First I will start with what I liked.1. It is very easy to use and change out the tips2. The price is right if you are interested in trying wood burning but not sure if you want to fully invest3. Comes with lots of different tips to try and use4. I like that it comes with wood pieces to get you startedDislikes1. The handle in proportion to the tip for me, was difficult to use for precision. Especially for writing, it felt awkward to hold it so far away from the tip to actually write decent.2. Heat setting doesn’t go high enough/ you have to use the highest heat setting to actually make a decent design.3. The handle gets hot after a few minutes. I had to turn it off for a minute before I could use it again.4. Stencils are ok quality.If you’re like me and are just trying to find a hobby you enjoy but not want to spend too much if you hate it or decide it’s not you’re thing then you’re only out $36. The overall quality is meh… but you get what you pay for.

This is an amazing wood burner! It does everything I need it to to, plus so much more. Well worth every single dollar it cost. Heats fast, gives a true burn pattern (which is hard to find in a burner this reasonably priced). I love it and recommend it to anyone thinking of ordering one.
