I purchased this to go along with the aputure space light diffuser to just give it that extra soft look. Its easy to fold and travel with - so makes for a great travel diffuser if needed. Worth the money, good quality, doesn't feel cheap.

Does the job! Even diffusion. Folded tight in package, so don't plan on using it as a clear white backdrop without the fold marks.

Very large. Great for DIY projects. Exactly the same material you find on commercial grade softboxes.

Nowhere near the quality of professional diffusion for photo or video. If you are using hot lights for film/video I definitely would find something that is made to take the heat, this stuff would definitely melt/burn. Pro diffusion will not only diffuse the light more than this, it will transmit more light as well. This seems to cut our light output quite a bit in comparison. At least a stop and a half.Still, it's very cheap stuff and I think I will be able to find a use for it. If you have a very bright LED (1k equivilant) and double up this diffusion, you could use it for key.
