Last year I treated myself to a Sony Bluetooth turntable. It was fine when it was in the same room as the TV because I could play it through the soundbar and get a decent, separated stereo sound, but since then I moved it to another room and found the sound was not as good through standalone Bluetooth speakers, end decided to go for something a bit more serious like these.I chose these speakers because of the options available. Bluetooth connection is still possible, but there are also two coaxial inputs and an optical input. The idea was for these to act as speakers for my spare desktop PC and also the turntable. Connection to the PC was easy because there was an adaptor supplied which converts the 3.5mm output from a PC into coaxial. I could have connected the turntable via Bluetooth, but opted to connect via the other pair of coaxial inputs because I am old-fashioned and prefer a wired connection and because the turntable is close enough to be able to do that, but it is good to have the option to change to Bluetooth if things change.The controls are easy to use, though in practice I only really use the on/off and volume on a daily basis.Obviously the most important thing is the sound and these speakers sound really good. The bass is punchy without sounding artificially boosted - which seems to be the fashion with headphones and some Bluetooth speakers - and there is plenty of detail in the trebles. As for volume, these are not going to fill a large hall, but in the house they go louder than I need, and there is no loss of range when played at a low volume late at night.So they work well, sound great but they also look good and have a reassuring weight to them. Now I can play all those old 70s and 80s LPs with the sound they deserve, and use the same speakers to play CDs and DVDs through the computer. Overall I could not be happier.

Only had these speakers delivered today so cannot comment on reliability all longevity.I am however willing to say that I have been extremely pleasantly surprised with sound quality - they were bought specifically for my living room to play music via Bluetooth from my phone through I Apple Music, the sound quality is excellent with plenty of bass and volume on tap for a speaker of the - considering Apple Music and Bluetooth combined are not going to be top end audio quality I imagine the speakers have the capability to sound even better if plugged via wired connection to half decent hi-fi.Very pleased with them so as long as they last and don't pack in after a week, I am definitely happy!

I purchased these to use with a WiiM streaming device. The speakers need to be pulled forward from the wall but the sound quality is better than I expected at the price and there is no lack of volume.

These speakers were purchased to connect via Bluetooth to my TV. They sound great but my only niggle is the volume isn't really loud. Perfect for normal viewing but if you are watching an action blockbuster you can't go really loud. Nice clear sound though.

Quality, and a great sound, for the money.They sure pack a punch for there size.Well made and a good build.

I watched a lot of reviews on youtube before purchasing these speakers having not heard of Edifer previously. Having now had them for about a month and am very pleased I bought them. I am not an audiophile but do appreciate something that sounds good and these do. They sit on my desk and are hooked up to my PC via a digital link and spend their days playing music streamed via spotify. The remote control is very handy making it easy to adjust the volume as I need to or muting them completely. I have tried them via Bluetooth and again the sound is great at one point I had the signal being transmitted via two mobile phones as in mobile phone one was streaming to mobile phone two which in turn was connected to the speakers via Bluetooth with no issues.The volume is plenty loud enough most of the time I have them on fairly low but when I do turn the sound up via the remote there is no noticeable distortion and they cope with the volume.

These are great if your not a audiophile and just want some music playing. The sound quailty is ok - the Highs are really really muted and very hidden at low volumes - not very accurate at all. BT support is great for playing from PC/Phone e.t.c. They look great and are just about worth the money. Don't expect a stunning audio experience with these.
