Meat and potatoes and all the gravy !
This knife is a perfect pocket size knife with a very clean feel to it . Is a little stiff at first when opening and closing, but I found that after doing so several times with a couple drops of gun oil it now works like a dream . It’s remarkably well made as far as there’s no left to right movement in the blade literally no slack whether you’re opening or closing it or even locked in the open position the blade is tight ! The actual handle is the only area I personally feel could be contour a little bit more to have a little bit less of an edge . I bought the one with carbon fiber, and this is really actually carbon fiber not a piece of plastic over plastic that makes it look like carbon fiber. I’ve never reshaped carbon fiber before, but I may try to reshape some of the handle to fit my hand a little bit better and have a little less sharp edge.Other than that, I can’t find anything that I can pick on .This is definitely a tool as well as something you could use to cut a steak to an emergency, cutting your seatbelt and never worrying about hurting it . And yes, it’s razor sharp. This is really a knife that you’ll be able to carry for many many years .Can’t say enough good things about it so far .

really good and misunderstood
so for the price, I was pleasantly surprised the blade lock up is great. The handle is great. It is slick but unlike one reviewer mine had actual carbon fiber not printed plastic. I know the difference if you have adequate hand, the friction lock works great just an index finger and it drops closed, I had one very insignificant gripe. It would be that it was less sharp than the CJ RB pyrite that I own out of the box.

For someone that uses a knife
Very sturdy build and blade design is useful for many task. Opens easily and I like the lock on the back of the knife so fingers are never in the way when closing. D2 steel is tough and will hold up under heavy use. Edge retention is surprisingly good while being easy to sharpen. I’ve cut a lot of things without damaging the blade. When I worked as a carpenter this knife would have seen a lot of work. It’s a good choice for heavy use at a good price.

Should've went with a button lock...
So the knife is "OK" but I wouldn't recommend it as the most definitive folding knife to get. The ONLY thing I don't like with this knife is the slide-lock tab. What makes it a poor design is how stiff and small it is to release the blade. The fact the manufacturer chose to keep the ridges of the tabs flush with the handle makes it difficult to grip and slide the release in order to fold the blade. And where it's stiff to activate.... You now have the concern of trapping your fingers as the blade releases. Overall... The designers had an interesting concept but they just didn't take the time to thoroughly consider folding/unfolding the knife for one-handed use. In my line of work, I am constantly multitasking the use of my hands and if I need to cut shrink wrap from pallets, I don't want to waste precious time trying to refold my knife.

Opens so smooth and effortlessly.
Was looking for a new knife and knew I wanted a different release and lock design. so I came across this, and was intrigued by the way it operated. The very first time I went to open it I could not believe it.Wow my pointer finger just barely glided across the recoil lock, and it was opened and locked before I knew what happened, and continued to play with it for 20 minutes wondering how it operated so well. Definitely the best design I’ve owned. everything about this knife feels right from the way to the handle to the blade and the clip. It instantly became my favorite every day carry. The blade is very strong when locked open. and just with the easy pull of the spring lock with my pointer finger it was closed, leaving me once again thinking WOW so effortlessly closed.very sharp, very high quality.it feels like I should’ve paid 100 bucks for this.

Awesome folding knife!
This is a really well made knife for the price!Even though it s not an assisted opening , it’s so smooth that a light movement of the wrist the blade snaps out like it’s assisted.
