DOES NOT CAPTURE 1080p/60FPS - ONLY CAPTURES 720P/60FPS
I bought this card for £38.99 and will say that I got the performance that I paid for - the cards can display 60FPS at 720p or lower resolutions. I will say that there are a number of reasons that very high quality performance cards share a much higher price tag than this. Do not anticipate identical performance for those given cards, such as Elgato or AverMedia capture cards, to name a few popular examples. My intentions were to test out my very first capture card alongside both my Wii U and my Nintendo Switch and, after months of usage, eventually came to a realisation; this card is unable to record 1080p60FPS (FHD).I had attempted to test this out on various Wii U and Nintendo Switch games, which did play and display on my TV(s) at 1080p60FPS (but feel free to correct any incorrect games mentioned below);Wii U Games tested:SplatoonSuper Smash Bros. for Wii UHyrule WarriorsPokken TournamentNintendo Switch games tested:Mario Kart 8 DeluxePokken Tournament DeluxePokemon UniteFIFA 22FIFA 21Dragon Ball FighterzFortniteAll of these games above have been played at 1080p60FPS just fine; no loss in quality, no noticeable input delay whatsoever - the HDMI output is doing its job correctly. When I turned my attention to then try stream some of these games (mostly Nintendo Switch ones) I spent hours on OBS trying to configure it and figure out how and why 60FPS was not being displayed at resolutions higher than 720p; 30FPS was automatically used above 720p. There was no need to check the colour scheme etc. as there was nothing noticeable and that wasn't my main focus; because of the price tag of this compared to other capture cards, expect something viable, as I remained happy to use.720p or lower are the only resolutions I've found to display perfectly at 60FPS. For it to not display 60FPS above 720p could mean multiple things:- a USB 3.0 port may not be in use; I used a USB 3.0 port upon my first use, then used different USB 3.0 ports on my PC, then proceeded to use a second, brand new PC with multiple USB 3.0 ports that I tested with those. I even got the exact same results after using USB 2.0 ports (but more on that further in the review)- the minimum specs for the capture card are not met for the PC; both PCs supersede the minimum specs required. Minimum specs are more to do with how the PC handles encoding and displaying than "will it work?".- a different USB cable than what was provided was being used; all I've used is the provided cable in all the different ports.- any other plugs and connections may be off; I only used HDMI, which all of them have met the 2.0 (or above) standard. Before anyone asks, yes, a HDMI 2.1 cable can be used on a HDMI 2.0 port (the input and output of this capture card) and act the same as a HDMI 2.0 cable. And yes, I did use HDMI 2.0 cables also.- the capture card itself, and/or the cable, is lower than USB 3.0.This I did test with my own USB 3.0 cable, and it displayed on OBS at 1080p60FPS-- no it didn't. Still 30FPS at resolutions above 720p. Simply put, what I found after researching the issue was this; USB ports at 2.0 (excluding some of AverMedia's capture cards) CANNOT display 60FPS above 720p. Because I've met all other requirements, the only problem left would be the capture card itself.THIS IS NOT A USB 3.0 CAPTURE CARD, BUT A USB 2.0 CAPTURE CARD WHERE THE CABLE AND CARD PORTS ARE PAINTED BLUE, TRICKING CUSTOMERS INTO THINKING THIS IS A REAL 3.0 CAPTURE CARD. THIS IS COUNTERFEIT ON TREASLIN'S END.You can even compare the same colour on the card/cable to the ports on your PC (Switch Dock etc.) and see something slightly off with the colour (only try this if you've already bought the product).I bought this card SOLELY - and I mean SOLELY - to capture games at 1080p60FPS on my Wii U, on my Switch and on my Xbox One S, none of them which have done 60FPS above 720p.Because this was my very first capture card, I did not trust getting an expensive one over one that had been reviewed on YouTube - turns out I bought a different type of capture card to the one being reviewed, which was actually USB 3.0.The device still works as a capture card; displays 60FPS at 720p or lower, but the extreme issue is the fact that it's being sold as a USB 3.0 capture card, when it's a USB 2.0. All in all, sometimes the price tag does mean that you won't get desired quality. Likewise, this is a counterfeit product; this product is displayed as completely different to what you're able to use.In addition, an audio delay is slowly but surely established over a few minutes. This means that every 15-20 minutes the card must be turned on and off in OBS. Extremely irritating and I did not know how to initially solve this when I first used the capture card.IMPORTANT NOTE:A buyer who is looking at this price range for the supposed quality would tend not to have strong enough hardware or a fully compatible PC to verify the full specs of the capture card.Whereas for someone who can afford or already owns beyond capable hardware would tend not to buy a capture card of this price, and vouch for something a lot more expensive, like an Elgato or AverMedia capture card, to name those examples again.MEANING that this product is generally aimed at these 3 audiences:- cheapskates; those that have the money to buy something better but aren't willing to spend so much as they see a product which can "supposedly" do the same for a much lower price tag from a company that they know little about- green content creators; those that have little experience with capture utility, so buys what looks too good to be true, but unbeknownst to the buyer due to their lack of prior knowledge - this is where I fall in- idiots; those that see the risks clearly and easily but still buy it because they assume the rewards outweigh the risksI write this review so that no-one else falls into the trap that TreasLin have set up AND because I paid for a product that was counterfeit.I have read even further 1 to 4 star reviews of this product which mentions the exact same problems that I'm facing, from people all over the world. The only reasons I'm giving this a 5-star review is not only so that many people can say that they found this helpful, and also because it still functions as a capture card, but so that people that only read 5-star reviews - like I initially made the mistake in doing - can see this message and be told the truth about this product.NEVER TRUST TREASLIN PRODUCTS AGAIN.

Amazing capture card I recommend it!
build quality is metal so its very sturdy, had a few audio issues but fixed it after plugging into a faster usb port so it sounds fine now. works and functions as expected, doesn't get hot or overheat. no lag due to the HDMI loop out!, and video quality looks great! overall great product.

Affordable screen capture and decent performance
This is a great product for beginner streamers/video game recording. The product is cheap and extremely easy to use. If you are looking to get started streaming then I would say this is the perfect entry point. After a while you may need to upgrade but for the price you pay this is expected. I have this hooked up to the switch or ps5 so it can be used for all consoles with a hdmi connection, I imagine this would work for 2 pc set ups as well. The quality is not bad at all it captures in 1080p but I did notice a bit of stutter when it comes to smooth gameplay. All in all I would say definitely invest in this if you want to try twitch streaming/YouTube videos. While I haven’t used this for a ps5 stream but I have used it for the switch a few times and did not run into an issue. The audio set up differs from software to software so bear this in mind when setting up but a quick google should get you sorted. You won’t find a better value for money starting out.

Quality stuff
Great product if you're looking for a cheaper alternative to the big name capture cards. Does exactly as it says in the description, product did me well for a number of years until I upgrade from xbox to PC.

video capture works, audio doesn't.
It might just be me but using this with a Mac & OBS trying to capture Nintendo Switch OLED footage, it captured the video and looks fine, but I couldn't capture audio.I changed my rating from a 4 to a 3 because I just got the Elgato and not only did that sort out the audio issue but the video quality comparison to this Treaslin is untouchable. If you have the money put it on the Elgato is you really want to capture some quality content.

Doesn't work
Easy to set up until the thing won't even workThought it was the wires at first but having replaced them all it still only shows a static reading. Crap

Works perfectly for Twitch Live Streaming, ZERO issues!
I have always wanted a capture card so I can stream Nintendo Switch gameplay to my Twitch Viewers. I had reservations about going for a budget one as I didn't want any audio/video issues whatsoever.I'm happy to say that this device does EXACTLY what it promises. I haven't seen anything that would make me want to upgrade so far. I've played Animal Crossing, Octopath Traveller and Breath of the Wild with it and not once have I had any issues so far.Its worth noting that one time I left both the capture card and switch on overnight, and in the morning there was an audio delay when I was selecting what game I wanted to play. All I did was close OBS and re-open it and this was fixed. so remember to turn off your device when you are done using it, or refresh OBS before going live :)
