Turquoise Floral Melamine/Plastic Outdoor/BBQ/Picnic Oval Salad Serving Bowl

So I bought this particular plate for eating large salad and Buddha bowl recipes, as it was slightly cheaper than a round edged identical looking item. Turns out, it's the exact same pattern as the round edged one, except it's oval. I missed that word when reading up about it! It only had the one photo of it. It's a shame because it's still fab for my needs but I'd have preferred the round one. Please could you put a clearer photo of this one, so there's no confusion? It's dishwasher but not microwave safe, which doesn't bother me be cause I have no microwave. Nice pattern and I can easily fill it full of salad and veg and make it look yummy :)

Lovely serving dish. Ideal salad bowl for large family or dinner party, indoor and outdoor dining.Looks pretty convincingly terracotta. (I've lost count of the number of people who're surprised that it isn't terracotta, and they've all said they wouldn't have known if I hadn't told them or told them to pick it up.) When you pick it up the light weight gives it away. However, it does have some weight, enough that it won't walk about by itself, and to feel like it's a substantial thing. Being melamine it won't shatter when dropped on a hard surface. I bought it for that safety aspect, to use at home but also at family BBQs where there are young children running about; and for club buffets where in the press of people things do sometimes knocked over or get dropped!Easy to clean by hand. Usually I put it in the dishwasher (upper basket). Don't let food get dried on and it's a cinch.It's identical in all respects except for the pattern as another serving bowl in the Epicurean range (Amazon ref. ASIN B01G70VHKI - Epicurean Warm Mediterranean) but that hasn't been available for years. However, based on my frequent use of the Warm Mediterranean (which is still in pristine condition), I'd say this Epicurean Turquoise is just as sturdy and should thus also last for years. The high price is worth it long-term. You can buy other items in the Epicurean Turquoise range too, here on Amazon.
