Good quality study adapter for UK traveler

I haven't used them abroad yet but have ensured that UK plugs go right in as some reviewers said they did not. I found they needed an extra push & then they went in fully.

It's OK, but....
These adapters work for me but I'm not a fan of the design for two reasons.1. There doesn't seem to be enough space in the adapter to fit the full length of the UK pins that are going into it. These leaves a gap between the device and the adapter (see picture).2. It causes the plugged-in device to be upside down. The UK earth pin is at the top whereas the Australian sockets have the earth at the bottom. The adapter doesn't factor this in, so the output is upside down. This is slightly irritating but may be inconsequential for most people.The flip side is that it's a very compact adapter and so is convenient to travel with.
