I have used this set of clubs since July 3rd, so I'm comfortable giving an informed review. While shopping for clubs I read so much about broken shafts, club heads flying off of low priced beginners sets (I'm 74 so high end clubs were out for me), that I almost gave up...What have I learned? Horse feathers. All clubs can potentially break, no matter what you pay for them. I have played 9, eighteen hole rounds of golf with miss hits, duffs and too much ground contact and the clubs survived just fine. What I am sure of is they are not designed to take frustrated direct hits to the ground, trees, etc.The club set is complete and you can hit the links the day you get them. As you improve your game, you will notice the "go to" clubs that work well for your game. For cart golf, the Orlimar stand bag fits quite well.All in all, the Orlimar mens golf club set is a great purchase, and you can buy the set with complete confidence. Orlimar golf was established in 1962 in SoCal, so yes, they have a history...Enjoy your game!...

I used the clubs for a week or a week and a half and the driver head flew off. To be fair I was a brand new golfer and I was definitely hitting the ground/hosel but the driver did break. I bought a new driver and I've been using the irons from this bag. Irons feel nice.

These seem to be a great alternative to the big named golf brand. I thought about sticking to Callaway and Wilson for my beginner set, but I decided to try a smaller company to see if I could break away from the trend. I have used these at the driving range twice and they are similar to the Callaway beginner clubs at top golf. I do believe, these are more forgiving. The bag comes with everything a beginner will need. I have a good selection of clubs and a pretty forgiving driver, for a good entry level price. I am happy with the purchase.

Incredible!!Improved the accuracy of my drive so much

My son is 15 and switched to Men's set. His swings improved drastically, distance improved and he sliced much less. There are others which are less in price but he tried many of them for a week (allowed from the place he bought them) but nothing compares to this set in consistency. Of course there are more expensive ones but whether worth it, don't know.The irons are steel, which the wood, driver are graphite and its good quality. The putter is especially good. The bag is quite good quality. If there's anything I will buy probably another Fairway wood.
