I'm quite impressed for the price. It's sturdy (although I wouldn't put anything too heavy on top - it's only made from engineered wood) pretty easy to put together ( I am but a mere woman and I put it together fairly quickly, without any hassle) The only thing that lets it down is the outer covering. I brushed past the lid and caught it on my leg - and the tape peeled back. Not a biggy, I can re-stick it - just annoying. For what I paid, it's a decent storage box for bedding in the spare room.

Needed to replace an old fold-type ottoman as it has been sunken in due to sitting on it and having this item in the basket for months I've finally decided to purchase it.Now it took me about 45 min - 1h to calmy build it and it was quite easy. Nice sturdy and spacious box, just like the picture! And heavy too, so i'm very sorry my amazon delivery driver!!Now the problems i've had;- The latch (?) didn't align with the holes, and it was quite stiff. Even playing around with it didn't give me confidence to screw them on so I removed them completely. Seeing pictures of how the tops got snapped off I really didn't want to risk it. So it must be a dud batch or something like that if it worked for others.- The legs of the unit are real cheap plastic, didn't put them on as I'd rather not risk breaking it if someone sits on the unit. Or slice my foot due to sharp corners lol.- The corners of the bottom plank are razor sharp!! I thought others were being dramatic but god they really are sharp and not something you'd want to brush against. Now I've removed the legs so it's less of a hazard. If I can be arsed I might take a nail file and hopefully round them off. The top plank is totally fine and not sharp as the bottom one.I maybe wouldn't have paid £ 50 for it, maybe 40 due to the issues. But not counting pennies I'm quite pleased with it as it does the job, but not 100% of what was promised. :)

The item is very sturdy and excellent value for money

Very easy to put together and well made. Holds all the grandkids stuff so the toys are out of sight then easily assessable when needed.
