Be sure to know the level your reader is at. This series tends to lean towards "easier" and was good while my reader was struggling. Repetitive lesson structure.

good images, good print quality. the pages were thick and durable also. we liked the variety of activities and selection of sight words.

I searched high and low for something just like this to help my kids practice sight words, both reading them and spelling them. This is very straightforward but fun and gives them just enough practice to remember each word. Some kids (or parents) may grow tired of the repetitive nature of the format but that's exactly what I wanted bc now my kids can do it independently because they know how to complete each section. Plus the more times they see each word, the better.

Bought this book for my son. It keeps him sharp on his skills. It teaches him how to read and write. How to enunciate and pronunciate words. I notice that my son's reading comprehension has blossomed over the past few months. I eill buy this book again for the summer to keep him up to date.
