Good alternative for cleaning
This works great and you don't have to soak the material. It got the stains out and made the upholstery look new.

Type-S cleaner
After reading over so many reviews I decided to give this product a try. I recently purchased a vintage Woodmarks Original Chair and on removing the cushion noticed the TYPE-S fabric instructions. Having never encountered that before I was not sure what to do. I saw several reviews on this product saying that it was good for Type-S fabrics and also read some guides that indicated it as a top choice. The price online is a little higher than in a brick and mortar store, but it was much more convenient. The fabric is a pale cream color with stitching in bold blues, reds and oranges so I spot checked the product before moving on. The cleaner has done an amazing job. There has been no staining and it cleaned up the colors very well. The smell is pleasant and not too overpowering. I will say that when the directions say to use an absorbent cloth it really needs to be absorbent. I noticed that some of the towels I had used did not seem to be coming up dirty so I switched over to a cotton diaper cloth and it made a huge difference. Also, because the furniture showed overall age, I did spray it and let it set for awhile then rub in the direction of the stitching.I have also used the product for regular carpets and it worked very well. For carpets, as opposed to the Type-S fabric, I did try out the brush on the lid. Naturally you have to hold the cap in your hand and not attempt to use it while still attached to the bottle or else it will just keep popping off. I felt it did a good job of working the product into the carpet.I will definitely start using this product more often and plan to pick up more when I go to the store.

Cleans pretty well
I actually bought this to clean a purse after watching someone do it online. Overall, it cleaned the fabric pretty well. It also works on upholstery pretty well. However, some stubborn stained spots would not come clean. If you're just using this for standard upholstery cleaning it will work well. It doesn't smell bad and seems to rinse away/wipe away cleanly. I refuse to use the cap brush for scrubbing though. The brush bristles on the cap are WAY too rough. I'd be terrified of ruining my fabric/upholstery. Always test a small patch of the fabric you're cleaning before using a cleaner like this. Also, I would recommend using this in a well-ventilated area. The smell was kind of strong for me. It sprays as a foam but it can spray out a little runny and make a little bit of a mess.

Works incredibly well!
This stuff is amazing! We use it in the car, as well as rugs, carpets and furniture in the house.

Works very well
Used on my 12 year old car which was clean but seats had sweat stains and so forth from 12 years of driving. Cleaned them like new condition with 2 treatments, only took one can. Very good smell !!

Smells nice but doesn't do much for cleaning
We have an off-white feather filled sectional that has accumulated some discolored spots. I read not to use a water based upholstery cleaner on these kind of couches so I bought this. It smells great and definitely deodorizes well, but the brush is entirely too hard core for my couch material and started to create a bunch of pills. Maybe that's why it didn't take the stains out - I couldn't use the brush. I tried this on a rug instead and it really only got stains out when I sprayed this, let it sit, then hit it with a water based upholstery/carpet cleaner.

Works Great on Microfiber
I purchased this cleaner as a last ditch effort to make my ivory microfiber couch look decent. Apparently, there are different grades of microfiber. I own an ivory microfiber chair that very easily wipes clean with a damp rag. My couch however, must be the lowest grade of microfiber, as even spilling a little bit of water on it leaves irremovable rings. I've tried many different cleaners and almost everything leaves rings. After reading the reviews of this cleaner, I decided to get it even though another reviewer said that it didn't work on microfiber. I was at the point that even if the cleaner left one big ring on my couch, it would be an improvement over what it currently looked like. When it arrived, I followed the directions and sprayed it on my couch (it honestly looked so terrible that I didn't even bother with doing a test spot). When I got to the step where you wipe the couch down with the rag, I was amazed to see that I could actually see the dirt comming off on the rag. When the couch dried, I was excited to see that it was indeed much cleaner and that it got rid of nearly all of the water rings that were already on the couch. Most importantly, since I had scrubbed an entire cushion, I didn't have any new water rings. After continuing to use it, I have found that if I deeply satuarate a small spot, I will get a water ring. In order to prevent this, I spray lighly on areas with water rings, and if I do have a really dirty spot, I make sure to spray lightly around the edges and to use the scrub brush to "fan" it out so there isn't a distinct line between the dry and wet spots. By doing this, I have been able to spot clean without having to deal with water rings.I've also used the cleaner on my higher quality microfiber chair, and it did not leave any water rings, even without using the careful method I've outlined above. I've almost competely used up the can I purchased and have ordered two more. With a toddler in the house, I've been using it nearly daily, and this product will be something I will continue to have on hand for years to come.

The Best I've Used for Pet Stains
I have an aged pet that tends to throw up. Changing to a high quality food has helped, but this product works very well, super fast and never leaves a stain. I remove excess with a cloth, spray, dislodge the proteins with the cap brush, and hit it with the vacuum. Always works.
