Rugged power supply for PA speakers!
I use these power cables for the active 500 watt PA speakers that we use in my band. I need some good 25 ft. power cables for my Peavey Dark Matter 500 Watt full range speakers that we are using in our practice room, ordered these mainly off of the specs, not looks, 15 amp power handling, they are hospital grade, had the right connectors. We put them to the test, had dedicated plugs in the band room for each speaker(2)1000 watts, and man, we didn't have to turn the mains up very loud to hear the singer, about a 1/4 of the way, plus we could move the speakers out a little bit cause we had 25 ft. to play with on each one(power cords & TRS cords) the stock power cords that came with the Peavey speakers were only 6 ft. long, so you were basically stuck near the closest plug, not with these new power cords, you have 25 ft. to play with, and we stopped playing periodically and checked everything to see if anything was getting hot and man, everything was as cool as ice, except for the tubes in my Marshall full stack! HA HA!! But their supposed to get hot! I would highly recommend you using these power cords as extension cords if your using an active speaker system on your PA, They definitely supply sufficient power to your active speakers, just make sure you have dedicated plugs in the walls for your speakers, so you have plenty of juice for your active speakers, and rock on, Dude!!

Well worth it for a hifi rig
Bought this for a $10k headphone rig. Does the job as well as anything I've tried before. Save yourself the trouble of buying snake oil and apply that money to your actual audio equipment (speakers/headphones, amps, dacs). This cable as as good as it's going to get, sonically. Esthetically, good enough, I go through the trouble of hiding my cables, you know, as you should.

Good replacement for my nilfisk vacuum
I bought the 25' length to replace my old Nilfisk vacuum cord and it works pretty good. A bit thicker and a little less flexible, but, for 1/3 the price worth it. I might consider the 35' next time though. Quality seems very good. I will say better than most of the others I have looked at.

Coiled cord is big, thick, and heavy
The Tripp Lite Hospital Medical Power Cord, Coiled, 10A, 18AWG, 5-15P to C13, 8' (P006-C08-HG10) / https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EEUHX5G is well made and high quality. It has a Lifetime Warranty.Dimensions are:1.25 inches / 3.2 cm - outer diameter of coiled cord section24 inches / 61 cm - length of cord, unextended5 feet / 152 cm - length of cord, extended with fairly high tension5/16 inch / 8 mm - outer diameter of power cord with insulationThe product data sheet lists the weight as 0.6 lb / 0.27 kg.I had planned to use this as a power supply cord for a computer monitor on an Ergotron flex-mount arm. However, due to the weight and bulk I will likely use a conventional power cord instead, just at a more suitable length than the original power cord. For example, Tripp Lite Computer Power Cord, 13A, 16AWG (NEMA 5-15P to IEC-320-C13) 2-ft.(P006-002-13A) / https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FBA1U4E/ is a good match for my installation. Other lengths are listed too.

This is all you need. Don't waste money on something else.
Physics are physics and being a audio lover and not and audiophool I realize this excellent power cable does all it needs to do to supply pure power to my tube preamplifier for around $10. While some power cables can run 1000x more, only someone with more money than brains would spend the cash on them. Unless your buying into all the smoke and mirrors, voodoo, and snake oil companies are trying to sell you on and convinced you of, or looking for something to brag about to compensate for some inadequacies, this is the only power cable you will ever need. Remember, they are in business for one reason alone. Profit. They will use every trick in the book to mislead and misdirect if it is an means to their end. Ask any man or woman of science. Electrical engineering makes it all too clear, buy this and save the money for something that matters.
