This is an amazing pen! I absolutely love it! Fabre-Castell has never disappointed me in their quality of products and they did everything right on the design of this pen. This pen is more round than most pens but not too bulky and fits fine in my purse. It has an amazing grip and easy for my little fingers to hold. My brother also liked the grip of these pen and said it was easy to hold.It works great for everyday use and for artistic purposes. I’ve heard that production of this pen has stopped so you might want to stock up. It’s worth it 😊

Amalgam of the best qualities of other pens in one product! Ostensibly, a plastic-barreled ballpoint. Tough to find, I'm afraid. A thick barrel almost weightless with a bulbous knob to deploy point. Comfortable, stylized, triangular, rubber grip. Plastic clip -- but heavy duty with much tension. Takes the extra large Faber-Castell refill which comes broad or medium. I like black ink; I use both nib widths. My use? Perfect pen for a field jacket. Superb for writing checks in the supermarket, bank deposits, credit card invoices, et al. And all this for a pen whose price wouldn't give you a stroke if you lost it! Too bad it is becoming obsolete. P.S. Just in case, I bought both a red and green one! If you can find it and like big pens, buy it. You'll enjoy writing with this one!

Comfortable pen...writes smoothly. Have to keep an eye on it as others want to keep it after using it.

This pen is so fun to write with, it even makes my handwriting neater! I bought a few because I don't want to use any other cheap pen now that I have tried these. The price is very good for what you get. I love these pens so much I have given them as gifts.

Throw out the refill and put in something smoother> I'm partial to the Itoya needle tip medium. Love the fat, fat, fatty. Nice change up in the middle of a long write.

I ordered the pen to match my rock solid Faber-Castell mechanical pencil.The pen is a bit lighter than the pencil and not as long. They only kind of match.The pen writes OK, but a Cross or Parker refill is much better.I'll keep the pen and use it because it "kind of" matches the pencil.I have a 30 year old Montefiore pen bought on eBay for $10 bucks and it's a whole lot better than the Faber-Castell pen.

The superior quality and reliability that I always expect from Faber Castell.
