MG Chemicals Electrosolve Zero Residue Contact Cleaner, 188mL (140g) Aerosol Can

I've had some tough electrical components to clean and was sick of having to gut them to clean them out via ultrasonic and alcohol. I grabbed this to try and although it's not as good as a teardown clean it gets the components working again with minimal hassle.Just make sure you use in a well ventilated area, it's clearly packing some liquid death in that can =)

I use this spray on the potentiometers and contact points on my guitars. It works as it should.

purchased this at the recommendation of a guitar tech to remove the scratchy sound caused by buildup of dust in volume pots on a guitar and for this purpose it was excellent.it is also good for cleaning solder connections of excess flux after you finish soldering. Very necessary if you want to avoid corroding the connections you solder together as leaving flux on the connections will do that long term.

Good cleaner for circuit boards and controls.

I use this product on vintage audio electronics .I use it to clean sensitive electronic parts , suchas AM/FM Tuner gangs which can be ruined ifresidue is left behind , which will happen withalmost all other cleaner solutions . If you workon electronics often , I recommend to buy the12 oz can . It's more cost effective . Also this ismade in Canada and cost less than USA brands .
