I decided to go with a cheaper version to stretch my lower back and see if it helped before potentially getting a better one. I've had lower back issues for several years. Physical therapy didn't help, the chiropractor did stop the spasems but not the discomfort and I accept that this is life now, however, i didn't want to go to the chiropractor for the rest of my life (I went for two years). I ordered this to help take the edge off the morning tightness before going to work and looking at the pictures in the description, I wanted to arch my back like the woman in the ad. It looked wonderful. What a relief that would be! Alas, it's surprising impossible for me. I put it on max arch and it was like trying to bend a 2 by 4. Not happening. Went to lowest setting, I'm still a board. I have no flex and I don't understand but that being said, It Worked because the relief of getting off the thing is sublime. Idk how anyone can lay on these things for 20 minutes. I can't lay on it for longer than 5, and that's struggling to relax and feeling all my core muscles trying to prevent my body from flowing with the form. Even my abs are pulling against it, but it does help. Maybe someday I will be able to drape over the lowest setting, dream of the highest, and accept the fact that if my back bends that far it's probably broken.

I have heard great things about this board which is why I ordered it. For me, even a beginner, I have to put it in the medium setting. Stretched my back nicely and helps with tension. My wife is only on the beginner setting and it helps her sciatica pain. Very light weight. Seems cheap at first but once you use it, it's actually really good.

I have been dealing with back pain for 30+ years. I read other reviews and I have to tell you this product really works. It seems like it works within minutes to me. I love the product.

Not built well

This product is average. Not life-changing, but also not a piece of junk. Your mileage may and probably will vary.My biggest complaint is that it comes with no instructions whatsoever. Not that there’s a lot of complication to it, but it would at least be good to know whether or not your butt should stay on the floor, which side is which, if there are specific ways to lie on it, etc.I’m still undecided whether or not I will return it, which tells you how unremarkable it is.

I have some buldging disc in my lower bac and they pinch my nerves at least once a year.About 7 months ago my back went out and after I healed up I still would feel a little tingle in my left lower back and I was always worried about my back being on the verge of going out.Over Thanksgiving my back went out again and the whole week I was having issues walking.I ordered this thinking I would just try it.i layed on it for about 5 minutes and when I got up I felt noticeably better.after about a hour I started to feel the pain slowly coming back.I did it another 5 minutes before I went to bed.Again felt much better.When I got out of bed the next morning I felt like I had a new back I could not believe it.I have used this for 1 week now,five minutes when I get out of bed,and the same when I go to bed.My back has not felt this good in years.Im not saying it will fix every back issue,it solved mine and its the best $20 bucks I spent in a long time.It is uncomfortable,but its stretching your back,its doing its job.I definitely would say its worth trying if you have back issues,depending on how major they are,obviously if you have had surgery you may want to check with your doctor.

Its ok. Plastic is flimsy if your over 100lbs don't get it.

This hurts and feels good at the same time. Its just what I was looking for.
