For artists...this is the best. Price and performance. Excellent results!
I hope my review helps other newbie customers for this product and Apple in general. I have never owned an iPad, or an iPhone and so i got my first iPad this year and read and watched through countless videos about which screen protector would be the best for illustrators and artists.... everything seemed to point to Paperlike or whatever product was considered " industry standard"..... but the issue was that I did not have $44 to blow on it. I took the leap after reading the positive reviews on here and IM SO GLAD I GOT THIS!! The entire installation process was so easy thanks to the genius tray set up and there is not a single bubble on my iPad as a result. It feels so good to draw on it. I just care about the sensitivity, ease of drawing and how detailed the brush can lay down the colors and lines. It performs above and beyond. I have been drawing with traditional media since the 80's and this feels really wonderful to draw on. This price alone is the right price for products like this. It's not insanely expensive and just feels so balanced and customer friendly. My Apple pencil feels just the right amount of texture to draw on without grating on the surface.

Great product!
Outstanding! I had another brand that was sufficient and did give me the paper-like experience, but this one is far superior. I couldn't get the QR code to work so I used YouTube and it was quite helpful for the installation. I have not had the best experience with installing screen covers, but this one was better than I expected. No bubbles. The writing surface is wonderful. No glare. The feel gives me more control. Highly recommend.

Exactly as advertised, but has some downsides.
I use my iPad primarily for note-taking at school, and I found it annoying and difficult to take notes on a slippery screen. I ended up buying one of these "paper-like" feel screens and find it much easier to write my notes! It works perfectly, and does exactly as intended. There is zero glare, but it does slightly reduce the quality of your screen but I guess that's to be expected when you buy a matte screen protector. I did notice prior to having this matte screen protector, I used apply a lot of pressure when writing and I no longer do that. However, there are a couple downsides I have when it comes to this product. This isn't an actual screen protector, merely a layer to help mimic the feeling of writing on paper, so keep in mind that this will not provide any protection to your glass screen in the event it cracks. I didn't like having to take off my glass screen protector to replace it with this matte screen, so if you prefer protection over feel, then I suggest buying a magnetic paper-feel screen protector that goes over your glass screen protector (and this same company does sell one!).Despite it advertising having an easy application, I found that I had the exact opposite experience. Putting this on was such a pain, and the QR code they have on the paper instructions doesn't even have a working link. The written instructions do suffice, but if you're a visual learner it's a bit of an inconvenience. When pulling the protector over and looping it onto the peg, there was a lot of tension and the screen protector ended up lifting whenever I tried smoothing it out. I ended up having to lift the screen protector and readjusting it a couple of times and stopped following the instructions so I could get it aligned and all the air bubbles out. I took off the shiny top later that initially covers the front of the screen protector so I could clearly see the bubbles and push them out. Taking out the air bubbles were easier though, and after it was fully applied it takes a bit of give to attempting to lift up the screen protector.Other than the issues I had with application, I rate this a solid 4/5 stars. I personally wouldn't buy this again if I decided to get another iPad and would instead get their magnetic paper-like screen protectors so I could take it off whenever I didn't need to use it.

No Way I'll Go Back To Bare Glass
I was a little skeptical about these "paper-like / paper-feel" screen protectors but I wanted something to kill that plastic-on-glass feeling when sketching. This actually makes it feel a lot more 'natural' when writing or drawing. I also find the sound it makes kind of comforting and immersive.Does it actually feel like drawing or writing on paper? Well, no, not at all. But its WAY better than bare glass. I mean I stop thinking about what I'm drawing on and just concentrate on my work. The technology just disappears for me now. Before, the 'clack' of the pencil on the screen, the slipperiness (is that a word??) - rather than getting lost in my work, or "getting into the zone", I was constantly reminded that I am using a piece of plastic on a piece of glass. Honestly, the bare Apple Pencil and iPad experience is not pleasant. I've been using an iPad Pro and Pencil since version 1 - I really wish I had just tried one of these years ago. Game changing.Oh, as a bonus it really keeps fingerprints way down. I do a lot less wiping and the glare is far less noticeable.Installation:Watch the video. Its really simple and the provided tray helps you line everything up.Downsides:I took a really hot shower (very steamy), then applied the protector in the bathroom - this supposedly helps sink airborne dust and particles. I managed to get he protector on straight and after using the included squeegee I managed to get all air out from underneath (zero bubbles). However, I have a single tiny hair trapped under the protector. It took a full day for me to notice it under a bright light with the screen off, but I can't see it at all with screen on whether its dim or bright, so, not worth re-applying.It WILL wear out your pencil nibs faster, even with a light hand. I have not had to replace one yet (only a month in), but I definitely see a little wear on the nib. I'm not worried about it. Apple sells nibs pretty cheap and there are a ton of 3rd-party nibs that are even cheaper. I bought an 8-pack of 3rd-party nibs at the same time I bought this protector for about $15 (using one of those since day one with this protector). Even if I only get 2 months out of a nib its still very much worth it. Although with the current wear a little over a month later, I suspect I'll get at least 3 or 4 months per nib. For reference, I use to replace Apple nibs about once per year WITHOUT a screen protector.A little over a month in, I don't see any marking from the Pencil on the protector, so it seems fairly tough. This is definitely a must-have on my iPads from now on. I really like it.
