Cloudray Ruida RDC6445S Co2 Laser Controller for Laser Engraver and Cutter Machine RDC DSP 6445S 6445G

Product worked as advertised.

I've been eyeing this controller since we got our laser cutter with the older 6442 controller. It's so much better because the auto-focus and Z up/down have their own dedicated buttons, rather than having to dive thru a convoluted menu like the older controller had. It wasn't too difficult to upgrade, although the display was slightly wider than our opening and required a little metalwork to fit. My fault for assuming and not checking the measurements beforehand. Copied the old settings off the previous controller and loaded them to this one, tested and adjusted a few settings that seemed to differ and we were off to the races. Props to Cloudray for quickly responding and providing helpful assistance for the few hiccups we encountered!

Had a few issues, contacted AMAZON support whom then contacted CloudRay support. They contacted me and provided the Support needed and also provided the manual for total configuration to ensure my system was functioning. Although it was by email, which is understandable since they are in another country.Still say they need better support for these products, and to provide documentation in the box it ships in, or at least a link via email in the order confirmation.

I already liked Ruida controllers because I have one on an existing machine and was very satisfied with how it works. I bought this kit to retrofit an older laser cutter to a Ruida controller.Unfortunately the display on the unit I received was blurry, missing lines, and sometimes had rolling bars across the display (see photos). It can be hard or impossible to read the screen. I read the support pages and tried to figure out any settings that could resolve it, but it looks like it's just faulty. The controller itself is fine, just the screen is the problem. Wish I could keep it, but have to return it.

Great controller supported by Lightburn software. Lots of good features. If you are on the fence, just do it and don't look back!

i used 6445G only one month, it shows a fatal fault , i used all branded equipments , Tube ,Chiller ,PSU etc. i used mechanical Limit switches , it worked fine for one month, then Lit shows Y+ always activated in the main board and whn Y+ activated it always activate Y- too, so Y axis cant move and I tested Ground connecting to each Y-,Y+,X-X+ all and Y - gone not responding .. wasting of money . i am not new to this stuff, tried to fix with many Professionals , but its a technical fault , this main board supposed to have better quality safety strings

Very powerful laser controller. I am using this as a retrofit on a K40 Chinese laser. It works well. Using it with LightBurn. Only a few quirks with configuring settings, and interfacing with software. Overall very happy.

Costumer support even after amazon return window was over is amazing.
