I bought the cheapest I could find and no regrets. These do the job just fine and I like that they are three smallish bits as makes them even more economical. One bar more than enough for a big 4x4.

I've never had to use clay bars in the past, but having purchased an on going project, an 18 year old neglected ford fusion, which had never been polished in it life, the clay bar was an absolute life saver.These bars do work well, they went from blue to brown with black streaks.I only used just one bar for the whole car.The car after further cleaning looks show room condition.I've used them on my 2 year old ford EcoSport to remove the tar & residue down the sides.I used a mixture of warm water & demon shine as a lubricant.Store in clean fresh water after use.

Overall it's a good deal. You can't go wrong with 3 bars of clay at this price, and in a sweet plastic case with a lock that's very compact and easy to store.This being said, the clay itself is nothing special. It's incredibly sticky, almost as if it is covered in strong glue, which makes it harder to handle. And despite of all the stickiness, I found it takes longer/more passages on the same spot to decontaminate it that with the other no-name clay that I have, which is a fair comparison.Don't get me wrong, the clay works fine. After the job is done the paint is decontaminated and sweeping your finger over it feels like glass, as it should. The negatives are only in ease of use, nothing more.Overall, still I recommend it. You can't go wrong on such a great deal.

Clay got stuck to the wrapper when I was opening it, maybe melted into it as it was a slightly abnormal shape when it arrived. The lid hinge broke as soon as I opened it. I think it did a decent job?

Makes the car cleaning (especially around the arches) very simple.You must keep it wet at all times and only use lightly over areas - no need to rub hard. This will do the hard work of removing ground in dirt / tar marks that wouldn't remove any other way.This beats cleaning cars the old way - all day long!
