Restored Functionality
I needed this for a 1981 F100 with dual tanks. The original electric valve was non-functional. While the OEM valves electrical connector was a smaller spade terminal, the new valve was a ring terminal necessitating removing the original female spade connector and crimping on a ring terminal which isn't ideal as that area is exposed to the elements and creates an avenue for eventual failure. Care should be given to insure that connection is as best protected from moisture as best as possible. The mounting ears were the correct spread however the mounting hole size on the new valve was smaller. I enlarged them so I could use the OEM bolts and I removed the nuts that were attached to the original valve and reused those. While a few minor modifications were performed with only one being required, the reality is they are of little consequence and I'm happy just to be able to obtain a new valve that is essentially correct.

Works great on early (1978) squarebodys with dual tanks.
It's not like the original but it functions the same. This is my second one of this style. last one lasted 14 years. Can't complain about that. 3 port fuel selector valve. It is what it is and does what it does. I will buy another one just like this in another 10-14 years. Works excellent on my 1978 Chevy C20 with dual tanks.

Doesn't last.
Was the same as the one I replaced but it didn't last but about a month before it failed. It got stuck half way open. Wouldn't order this one again.
