Does what it says!
First thing - I have absolutely no idea what 10k lumens looks like in reality, so I can't comment how accurate the description is. However, this torch is a beacon that would, indeed, illuminate the darkest recesses of hell. The physical sliding 'zoom' of the torch (which, incidentally took me ages to work out because I clearly am intellectually challenged - I spent hours trying to twist and turn everything) worked astoundingly well. In 'illuminate the universe' mode, it casts a wide beam around you, allowing a vast area of your County to be lit up evenly - and I mean 'lit up'. It's quite possible you'll see your neighbours pulling back their curtains thinking the sun had come up again. Zoom into the 'laser piercing death star' mode and it focuses its beam into a very small area that reached the bottom of our field a couple of hundred yards away no problem. Any rabbits in its path were not just instantly visible in the dead of night, the focussed torch laser beam was so good you could actually see their fur start to smoke and their terrified little screams as they began to cook. (It is slightly disconcerting that the torch beam's image in this mode is actually the Microsoft Windows logo - users of this torch will know what I mean). You'll also likely get a visit from NASA's 'men in black' in this mode if you point it skyward. That or a latex-encased, caped crime fighter. Finally, it's also pretty solidly built - sturdy enough to whack any Ninja thugs on the head should they come at you from behind and give them a nasty bruise.Anyway, all in all, I thoroughly recommend this torch.

Very bright
Having read the reviews I decided to buy this and I am glad I did. It illuminates most of the forest and I can pick out deer and foxes from a long way. Easy to use and good quality. If I had to have a negative comment is that you have to cycle through all the functions to turn it off but this is a small price to pay for such a value for money torch. Only tip I have is do not look directly at it.

INCREDIBLE VALUE
I got this for outdoor use in all weather. It is very sturdy and not too heavy to hold. Most importantly it is NOT, as claimed, 90000 lumens. I do not have a measuring device but I have an excellent diving torch which is less than 10000 and it is much brightern than this. However, it is very bright and from flood to zoom gives a very impressive beam. The head of the torch has the lens, which is rather exposed. As long as you don't drop it head on to an uneven object or floor it should be ok, as I said, it is quite rugged. The on/off button is rubber which is well protected and cannot be accidently activated. The first clickactivates the full, bright flood beam. The 2nd click dims the light, the 3rd click dims further, 4th click gives you the strobe effect and the 5th click gives you the automatic SOS effect. Obviously the 6th click switches it off. When the light is on, this can be done on any of the 5 settings, gently slide the head of the torch forward to change focus from wide beam to zoom focus. There are 2 plastic tubes in the battery housing. These are to stop the supplied batteries from rattling about. If you wish to upgrade to a different type then you will not need these sleeves. It also comes with a few extras as a nice touch. There is a very nice lanyard with fixing attachment, spare 'O' rings and for the tail of the torch a useful screw in windscreen/glass shatter point. The shatter point also comes with a decent rubber protection cap. The input and output charging point, both being 5v, is protected by a rubber cap.The instruction leaflet covers everything and considering it is from China is well presented and does cover some important points, so it is best to read this one.Lastly, it is not, as stated, waterproof. At best showerproof.Overall this is an excellnt torch for this price and much, much brighter than its peers.

So bright planes thought our garden was the runway LOL
This is probably the brightest torch you can buy without spend hundreds of pounds on some sort of military search light. The batteries work well. Battery life is reasonable with ones supplied. You can buy higher quality ones, but not really needed unless you need extended use. I have some high quality larger 26650 ones too and and hour of use uses about 1/3. Very useful to charge your phone from too when camping and you can still use the torch at the same time. It takes quite a while to charge, however there's a lot of power in the batteries, any torch like this would be the same. Definitely a good buy and you won't be disappointed if you want a solid bright torch.

Brilliant design and build
Very solid, very useful and smooth spot/flood adjustment, just the right weight and very solid for helping out if you meet a dangerous dog etc, switchgear very solid and positive with brilliant charge indicator built in, in-torch battery charging over USB. And crazy bright when needed, or (more useful) easy run all night or more, cool-running softer-bright for general use. I’ve used it for several hours now over a couple of weeks and it’s still half full by the indicator. Way the best torch I ever had - I bought two!

Bits fallen off
Very disappointed had this torch 2 weeks and the rubber covering the on off switch has fallen off. Also does not keep its charge for long. Do not buy a total waste of money

Solid product
This is a quality item, full of positive design detail (beam zoom, seals, charging point cover, clear indicators to name a few). Very solid build quality here, nicely machined, contrary to my experience with a lot of Amazon product. Extremely bright LED in the XHP90. No negatives to report. 2 x good quality 3.7v 18650 rechargeable batteries also supplied.
