Tastes good, Long Shelf Life.
Pros - The biggest attraction to this product is it's long shelf life. These pouches are excellent for emergencies, day hikes, camping trips, quick on the go meals. You can store some in the pantry, emergency kits, grab bag etc. Just add water, stir and eat. The best part about these particular pouches is that they actually taste good! If you're looking for a freeze dried granola mix, this is a great choice.Minor Con is Price - I think the price is on the high side for most freeze dried products like this. If this brand would just reduce prices a bit, I certainly would buy a lot more of their products. I'm confident others would too.Example: You can buy MRE's (meals ready to eat) with a main course, snack, side dish, desert, drink mix, coffee, flameless ration heater and accessory pack for a comparable price. No need to add water and the shelf life 3-5 years. So?It really comes down to what you will be using the product for. How temperature sensitive you need it to be as far as storage, shelf life and the actual situation you're using it for.

The best Mountain House option!
The blueberry granola is by far the best option, but that might be because the only freeze dried portion is the blueberries (don't quote me on that; it appears that way though). It reminds me of cereal, and I also like that you use cold instead of hot water; making for a quick camp breakfast. If you want to spend more time enjoying camping rather than doing a lot of prepping and cleaning, then Mountain House is for you... Personally, I try to buy the bulk/variety options, but I ran through this one and needed more just in case haha.As far as other flavors/options, I liked the Biscuits and Gravy, Chicken Teriyaki and Beef Stroganoff. I've also had the Lasagna which was aight, but not as good as the last few mentioned. And, I tried the mint chip ice cream bar, which was good but also just astronaut ice cream (iykyk). The one thing I will say about these, is that you want to put just a tad more water than suggested; also, you will want to let them sit a bit longer too.

Tasty
Worth buying and rations are perfect. Easy to prepare and can be eaten straight from the bag. Ate all of them and they all tasted amazing.

A sweet, filling treat for quick energy
Calorie-wise, this meal is compact and adequate. It's easy to prepare without needing to boil water and rehydrates quickly. The blueberry portions is quite generous, however they tend not to hydrate all the way with cold water as quickly as the granola and milk. It's a good sugar rush and somewhat filling, but lacks the savory flavor and heaviness that would keep you going for a long period. I still feel hungry after eating even though the calories are there. But it's also cheaper than the other meals, so maybe that's worth the trade off.

Taste
I ordered this for mainly emergency power outage type food. Since it comes in individual packages I decided to try one in advance. It was surprisingly good. Packs a bit of heat but not too much for my taste. It is easy to prepare. However, I added almost 2 cups of boiling water instead of the recommended 1 and half cups. I'm glad I did and it didn't make it runny at all. It did allow for all the ingredients to be fully hydrated and no crunchy pieces. I am impressed with this one. Years ago I ordered other products and didn't care for them for the price. I hope to find other products that equal the taste of this curry one. Warning on the salt though!!!! I will have to save these for emergency type situations where that doesn't matter as much.

Great for breakfast
These are by far, the best freeze dried breakfast we have had. It is so good that I would eat these even when not camping. They are a quick, delicious and filling meal. High quality products like these make our adventures more enjoyable, thank you Mountain House!

Excellent taste
I bought these for hiking, travel, and any other time I need something light and easy to pack. They are not cheap and I cannot imagine anyone ordering these to snack regularly at home. They are great for what they are: Long term storage and great taste for "restaurant price" servings. I've traveled a LOT and paid more at hotels for food that wasn't as good, so take that for what it's worth. Save a couple for a rainy day and travel or hike with them. Don't just stick them in a closet for 30 years. Eat them (try it with hot water for YUM)!

Nectar of the gods
These are just great! Perfect breakfast on or off the trail. Hide them from yourself or you'll eat them before the camping trip. LoL
