CINEMA SECRETSPro Cosmetics Ultralucent Loose Setting Powder, Soft Custard

This powder is the perfect color to set the #3 Foundation Palette by Cinema Secrets (or yellow/warm undertoned foundation). I like it better than Makeup Forever HD Powder, (and that is a great powder!) I notice a healthy, more natural looking color when I use this. The powder is very fine and soft, does not create creases under the eyes over top of foundation or concealer. This was a splurge for me as there are many companies who make yellow based setting powder for half the cost. However, this is the BEST powder especially when used in combination with the Cinema Secrets Foundation.

I bought this powder before through Sephora and I loved it. I'm not sure if they changed the formula or if I got a bad batch or if this just isn't the real thing because this had a little bit of a baby powder type odor to it. Also, it irritated my skin. I would recommend Cinema Secrets powder but only through a supplier you trust.

i usually get these on sephora's website but they are cheaper here and i love love love the formula. i like this one better than the laura mercier one too, i feel like it's a little less drying (for the girls and boys with dry skin). an absolute staple in my makeup bag.

This is a yellow powder that is very nice and gets rid of the ruddy red tones. Yes, it works!

this stuff really hides the dark under eye circles. great cammo wear for every day! i love this stuff. Really...

Cinema secrets setting powder. I found this powder to be to heavy if you are not careful with the application. It also slightly dried my skin out. If you apply this very lightly it is a decent setting powder if you use to much you will know it becomes cakey. The powder is really fine and comes in several shades. I know alot of people really like this powder but for my ultra dry skin it was just to drying. If I had normal or combo skin it would have been a good setting powder.

Great Mac product.

This is a very nice, fine-textured setting powder. I mostly apply it over a tinted CC cream and it sets my makeup well for light wear. I also used it to bake with full-coverage foundation, but it settled into my lines a bit and didn't look great. I prefer Bare Minerals for baking, but this is a nice way to finish with light/everyday makeup. It has a slightly yellow cast (I have the custard shade), which I prefer as it cancels the redness is my skin. This is sheer coverage, not heavily scented, and doesn't irritate my eczema or cause breakouts on my chin. I think it's a bit pricey considering that there are some similar drugstore formulas that seem as good to me, but this is a large container so it's not unreasonable.I wouldn't buy this again because I'm just not much of a powder girl other than when I'm doing full coverage makeup with BM. Normally, for everyday makeup, I just use a setting spray as it keeps my makeup in place and doesn't settle into lines. However, if you're oily, it would be a good, light choice.Thanks for reading...I hope this helps.🙂
