I have purchased this item twice for the same couch, in two different colors - first gray, then oatmeal. My couch is a weirdly-sized 77" including arms but only 70" back, so the first time I chose the 2-cushion loveseat size. The second time, they had added a 2-cushion sofa size, and I chose that.Both items were of excellent quality! The velvet looks and feels wonderful. The thickness of the fabric is perfect and takes loads of wear and tear without showing (including plenty of cat claws). The color on both items has been consistent and beautiful. This cover hides my 20-year old -extremely- stained and ugly chenille sofa (but it is so comfortable!). I absolutely love the color choices provided by this seller as well. I liked so many that it was tough to choose, but I am happy with the updated "oatmeal" color.Both of these sizes fit my sofa, but with the loveseat size, the cushion covers were a very tight fit and squeezed my cushions flat. The cover itself fit beautifully, as though it were made for my couch. A little tucking and pulling, and the thing lasted three solid years of teenagers and cats. Ultimately, it developed a couple of holes along the top back from kitty claws, so we purchased a new one. The new size is absolutely lovely, but has a little extra fabric to tuck in compared to the other size - which is totally fine! This will help it to stay in place without slipping as much. Very pleased and would recommend without hesitation.Bonus: it arrived next-day from Amazon!

This was the second cover I ordered and I'm happy with both. I have dogs and cats who shed and I wanted to protect my original sofa, but also wanted a nice color. Locally, something similar only comes in the dreaded "greige" or something like that. Yuck. I need color in my life! And I LOVE the vibrant, cheerful color choices here. It was easy to put together a spring or fall theme for the living room without having to spend or change a lot.It takes a bit of doing to dress your sofa in this slipcover. By that I mean you'll have to stretch and tuck here and there, but a few minutes of effort is totally worth the finished look.I'll mention again that I have pets that shed. No worries. The fabric is polyester, so spot cleaning usually removes stains and anything weird the pets leave behind, but a quick wash in cool water and drying on low heat and it's good to go. The ones I have seem pretty durable; I've had both for over a year, and I am very pleased. So yes, get one (or more) for your own living room!

In 2018 I ordered a similar set, different brand. Those covers were very thick and performed great also, but I got tired of the wild pattern.In 2021 I ordered this same H.VERSAILTEX item for both my loveseat and large sofa in the color grey. The covers were substantial feeling, thick, good quality, with good workmanship, and held up extremely well to 2 large dogs wrestling almost daily on the sofas and many butt-hours scooting around. The also endured numerous washings without a problem. Just recently they started to develop small holes in the cushion covers only. So, I decided to get away from the gray theme and reordered both sets in oatmeal.Cons:1. As soon as I pulled them out of the package, I could tell the material felt thinner, the covers felt lighter. The "velvet" didn't seem as dense, more see-through. Since I had to confirm, I used my kitchen scale and the new loveseat cushion cover weighs 9.0 oz vs the older style 10.3 oz, and large sofa 11.5 oz vs 12.9 oz . Now that doesn't sound like much, but it is noticeable. Perhaps it is just a fabric variation between the different colors they offer. If so, that doesn't seem fair. We'll see how they hold up to the dogs and their nails.2. There are no longer the elastic straps that run under the sofas to help keep the cover from riding up. The original large sofa had two straps, the loveseat had one. I might add some loops and reuse the old straps.3. The stitching seems not quite as professional, and where the armrest fabric pieces come together they aren't as crisp and shapely as on the old set.4. Overall the bottom elastic seems a bit weaker?5. I just wish manufacturers would stop with shrinkflation and enshitification of everything.Pros:1. I debated which color to get. I was tired of the dark gray (which fit our old house better) and wanted something to better hide brown dog hair. I took a chance on oatmeal and it seems to be performing fine. The cushions do get a little darker looking from the dog dirt but depending on how the velvet is brushed, it kind of blends in with the different shading. I know it is easily washable.2. Overall, they still look as great as the old set. And I do still recommend you get them. How else can you stretch a 24 year old couch to last another 5+ years for this price?

Wonderful product. I had tried another brand covering my sofa & 2 chairs, & this by far is the best. It was purchased to protect my furniture from my cat using my furniture as a scratching post & from her hair. The other brand required me to put towels under the sofa & chair protector bcz the weave was loose enough to allow the hair to slip through. The fabric on this brand feels substantial & time will tell if it resists my cat's claws. I love that it has separate seat cushion covers so you don't have that annoying slippage each time you get up. The overall piece covers the sofa/chair from top to bottom (remove seat cushions), then separately cover the seat cushions & maneuver the seats over the overall cover. Make sure you have enough give in the overall cover so the seat cushions will fit back onto the sofa/chair. The one I purchased for my 3-seater sofa & chairs had a lot of give so it was no problem. I did work up a sweat getting the seat cushions back in place (easier with 2 people). The huge bonus was the fabric seems to resist cat hair so very little clean up. It comes in many colors & it looks rich & the fit is great. The washing instructions is cold water & hang to dry or air dry. It took over 3 hours to air dry in my dryer so I finally used the delicate low heat setting & it was fine.
