How fast does it turn?

It is adjustable- there is a knob you turn so can either turn very fast or very slow or somewhere in the middle

The main shaft was bent and the spindle holding the target arms was cracked. Can i get replacement parts?

What activate the rotation?

A switch on the unit to turn on and off and then you set your movement delay. There is no trigger or remote.

How high off the ground is the lowest portion of the target area? Can it be made taller?

Yes. The legs are adjustable. It can set almost flat or you can tighten the legs and raise the target about another 2 feet. I love this turner so much I've bought two!
