TiVo Bridge Plus, Moca 2.0 Adapter| DVR, Streaming Video, ECB6200TIVO,Black

I bought this to create a MOCA network, not for use with a Tivo. It was 35 bucks cheaper than the non Tivo branded version of it (go figure), but it works great! I partnered it with two Actiontech WCB3000N adapters to put Ethernet where I needed it and one to help extend WiFi. Overall, extended my network in less than 30 minutes and under $100 and pulled no cables!If you are looking to build out a MOCA network, I recommend this unit if it is cheaper than the Actiontech version. Works pretty solid!

This is the exact replacement for the earlier model TIVO bridge that has been discontinued. Easy to install, following the included instructions. Worked great, used to replace a failed unit that was 6 years old, hopefully this unit will last as long!

If your MoCA network support gigabyte speeds you need to upgrade to this version of the TIVO MoCA bridge. It makes a big difference in speed over the network.

Replaced my old FiOS-supplied Actiontec router with a mesh system and needed a MoCA adapter to talk to my TiVO boxes. This adapter neatly supplies the MoCA network and works with TiVO right out of the box.

Now my tivo Mini works

I had a mini where the ethernet went bad. Unfortunately, you cannot add a USB Ethernet adapter to the Tivo Mini (at least I wasn't able to get it to work)...........so I had a broken mini.Then I remembered the mini has built in moca "receiver" with the coaxial input.I got this unit (and the "filter" Tivo recommends)....I installed it (I installed this near my cable-modem/wireless-router). And used existing coaxial wire on the mini.It works.So I have "fixed" my Mini to make it usable again. Well, I used an alternate Ethernet delivery so it works again.I with Tivo allowed Tivo Mini's to be able to install a USB-ethernet dongle.............but no such luck.
