Smiffy's Men's Authentic Western Wandering Gunman Hat with Rim

My son was Clint Eastwood for Halloween and this hat was perfect. It didnt fall off his head. It wasn't too tight or too loose.It looked great too.He's 11 and 5 foot tall.

For the price this hat is really nice, I thought it would be a lesser quality prop hat but it arrived nicely packed and is a lot nicer that expected. Recommend this to finish off your western look!

The hat is very well built, and with a very similar color to the one on the picture. After readign some of the reviews I was afraid it would be a much clearer and different color, but I was positively surprised when it arrived. I dont know if they have changed the color because of all the complaints, but the case is that now its just like in the picture.The materials seem pretty good for a costume, and the hat has an elastic band in the inside so it fits everyone. The shipping was slightly defficient since they used a box that was a bit smaller than the width of the hat. As a result the hat was slightly bent on its sides. But it wasnt much of a problem, the hat is easy to reshape, so it was a very easy fix!!This hat is totally worth it!!!

A previous reviewer classified this hat as halfway between plastic costume and real, and that is pretty true. It seems to be plastic covered in felt, but it's very sturdy with a consistent, well finished surface. The hat band is garbage, but for a costume, who cares. The inside band is enough to make it fit a variety of sizes, though it won't last through too many repeat-wears, I think. Still, for a costume hat, it's much better than I expected.

It is ok just a felt hat. Came a little smashed but it will still work and should last a while if it does not get wet.

If this is for a Clint Eastwood costume, like the guy in the picture. this hat is your best bet for the price. It fits perfectly, with an elastic strap in the bottom that can be removed for expansion, but it keeps it firmly in place. Its not hollywoodprops.com, it was like $10 dollars with shipping; but I've bought a lot of $10 party store hats, and this one is way better than any party city type stores. It's somewhere right between a prop hat and a real hat, that is to say, It wouldn't pass at a restaurant, but if you're going for Clint, this is the hat.
