works great
I recently replaced the gaskets between the lever and group head on my rocket espresso so bought this lubricant based on a recommendation from an espresso tech. It works great. I didn't realize how much the lube was needed since I've owned the machine for almost 13 years and it is used daily. I guess the deterioration of the original lube was so slow, I didn't notice how much more pressure I had to keep applying over time to lift the lever. I almost slammed the level when I first used it because there was almost no friction. This product is pretty expensive but the size of the purchase is more than enough for my lifetime use. Besides, spending that amount for a quality product on a $3k machine is a no brainer. One last comment. Some reviewers posted that their received product came in a plastic container. Mine did come in a small tin can as pictured in the product description.

Perfect for any water filter housing or-ring
Perfect for any water filter housing or-ring, plumbing or-rings or scuba camera or lights or food contact appliance. Cheapest I could find online but might find almost 100% silicone scuba camera o-ring grease cheaper or at least a larger container size at your local shop.

Plenty for occasional use
I bought this to lubricate my rocket espresso machine lever and it worked great. For small applications, this is plenty.

Pure Food Grade Silicone Grease
I always keep quality silicone grease on hand. I use it for all kinds of things: O-rings, rubber seals, gaskets, fountain pen piston/thread lube. This is a very high quality food grade, pharmaceutical grade, pure silicone grease. Can be used on SCUBA gear. This container would last most people many years. I bought Dow Corning Molykote 111 because it was recommended by a prominent fountain pen repair/restoration expert. A little goes a long way. DO NOT GET THIS ON A PEN'S NIB OR FEED OR ANY PLACE WHERE THE INK HAS TO FLOW TO THE TIP. On some piston filling pens I lube the rubber piston or the walls of the reservoir to keep the piston silky smooth. Good for threads on blind caps. I even disassemble most pen converters to do he same with them. Keeps the piston moving smoothly and does not get into the ink.If you have a TWSBI "AL" pen, DO NOT LUBE THE ALUMINUM PISTON THREAD WITH THIS GREASE. Aluminum threads require special grease. Email TWSBI customer service if you need lube for these parts. The lube TWSBI puts on these threads should last many years, do not remove the factory lube from the TWSBI AL pens aluminum parts.

Just the right amount for a home barista
A little does go a long way and even though this is a small tin, I suspect it'll easily last me years. Perfect for use when doing maintenance on my espresso machine to keep the group head gasket and shower screen lubed.

Using on MP10 Shaft After Ceramic Broke
I'm using this to lubricant heat shrink on the metal shaft of a Vortech MP10 by EcoMarine after the ceramic sleeve broke. It's working very well in a saltwater aquarium. The MP10 is actually quieter than the original setup. Great stuff for the price.
