Excellent quality, sound, and value
I like everything about this turntable. I bought a refurb to save money, but it looks and works like new, was even packaged like new. It has a nice weight, very solid feel. The setup was quick and easy, although a bit more involved than I was expecting. The controls are simple and intuitive. The stylus light is very helpful! I also bought a weight, to hold the vinyl down, but it's probably not necessary, just a techy extravagance. But the weight I bought includes a level, so I know how flat the turntable is set. Living in an older home with "flexible" floors, it helped.I have only used the analog output into a JVC receiver and a set of Polk Audio speakers with a separate subwoofer and I am very happy with the sound quality. The unit is beautiful, sturdy, very well made and packaged, and performs flawlessly. At around $250 (new price), it is an excellent value IMO.

Solid, great sounding turntable
I compared the playback of this turntable to the HD digital tracks and I very much prefer the sound of the records. Listening to songs that I have heard many times, I am picking up details that I never noticed before.Direct drive was important as I don’t want to have to worry about replacing a belt. I especially like the built in light that illuminates the needle, making it easier to place it on the record. Setup was easy and USB makes it easy to record high quality tracks on a computer. Highly recommend!

Great turntable at a good price point
I love this turntable more than I love my own family. After lasting 20 years and who knows how many hours of music, the old belt drive turntable I bought in college finally decided attach itself to the big receiver in the sky so it was time for a new one, and I landed on this one. And it was quite an upgrade. When you take it out the first thing you can feel and see is that this is a well put together turntable. Balancing the arm with the counterweight was a little bit of a challenge only because I've never done it before, but the music jumps out of the grooves on this turntable. Would definitely recommend. Only thing I'd say is that it doesn't have an automatic return, so if that's something you can't live without this isnt for you. Otherwise, enjoy!

Great turntable for the money
The description says it was "renewed" but it looked brand new to me. Everything in original packaging. Instructions were minimal but I looked online how to balance the arm, everything else was straightforward. Has great sound.

Bad quality
I bought one of these, the motor was broken. I bought another and the rca cable to the left speaker doesn’t sound remotely decent. I will not be buying audio technica products again

The is a great turntable
This turntable is great, very much a clone of the MK-II, I did need to purchase a phono pre-amp, mainly because my receiver doesn’t have a pre-amp but after that, the sound quality is amazing. I love it!
