inedible
The product arrived intact and sealed but was so hard it was almost impossible to cut with a knife. I had to throw it away.

A soft nougat that tastes great and a good value.
This is an excellent soft nougat with almonds in an 8.81 oz (250 gram) version. It comes in a box that is more than 12 inches long, 2.5 inches wide 1 inch deep. It comes in a green color box from Italy. This same company (Sperlari) also produces a super hard nougat in a smaller red box (150 grams) which I could not even bite. The green box has the description "Tenero alla Mandorla" which according to another reviewer says that it is a soft nougat. This and only this version in the green box is recommended.

Hard as rocks
I was expecting a soft & chewy nougat. This was hard & brittle, shattered all over when trying to break off a piece to eat. Will not be buying this again

like this
I enjoyed every bite. By the way, remove the paper off the top and bottom. I didn't do that initially because I thought it was edible. I finally checked again on the last piece and it easily removes. Duh!

Not what it says it is
Taste is very good, but I bought two of these specifically because the description (in photo) said it was soft nougat. It most definitely is not. Had the package indicated hard, vs. soft, I wouldn't have opened it—but it doesn't. It has to be shattered into pieces to be eaten, and just biting a piece makes a mess.

Definitely a super worthy 10 star
My goodness gracious, am I super satisfied and impressed with this candy or what? Italians do torrones way better than Spanish do ( lo siento admitir, España pero es la pura verdad) Even the packaging is a work of art. The soft nougat with 45% more almonds than regular torrone is so deliciouus mixed the hint of orange and the thin wafer makes this torrone a divine candy. Bravo, Sperlari, bravo!
