GREAT resource!
This book is well-written, well-organized and provided an excellent starting point for two people who knew nothing about their Cricut Maker. We've gone through a lot of the introductory and explanatory materials and feel like it's making more sense to us. One of our problems had been not having an overall sense of how it works. This book walks us through so many of the tools and actions and, while we will undoubtedly need to go back and review from time to time, the big picture is much clearer. We are working our way through the projects and the first we tried was easy and rewarding. Then, we got to the second one we chose and we hit a snag. We went back to it -- several times -- and couldn't get unstuck. Now, here's where it gets cool. We had subscribed to the author's mailing list and so... I wrote to her. Gave her the page number and where we were stumped. In about an hour, she had responded and made two suggestions, one of which was the key that unlocked our mysterious barrier. Way cool. Now we're not only a fan of the book but will follow her blog/website/facebook/instagram. Not just a very good book -- but an entry into a wider array of ideas and inspirations. Highly recommend.

Great for Beginners!
I pre-ordered this book because I have searched Amazon and could not seem to find a legit Cricut how-to book. Everything had mostly bad reviews and were e-books (i.e. not real published books) with misspellings galore. I was looking for something basically like a Cricut For Dummies (cricut for dummies doesn't seem to exist (yet!)). This book is fantastic! I am very pleased with my purchase. She breaks down Design Space and how to use the different tools. She talks about the different materials and how to make different projects with them. She has a starter project so you can bling out your machine with a pretty decal, along with 39 other projects, step-by-step, with pictures, from what materials you need, to how to set up Design Space for that project, how to cut the material, and how to apply the material. Projects included are for Cricut Explore Air 2, Cricut Maker, and yes, even Cricut Joy! I personally only have the Explore, so the Maker projects are basically useless to me, but those of you who have the Maker will love these projects! The only thing that was a disappointment for me was this book does not include how to make the pretty sparkly tumblers. But that aside, I'm very excited to try some of the projects in this book! Beginners and Experts alike will really love this book! Buy it! You won't be disappointed!

Cricut Book
Have not had a chance to use it so gave it a 4 rating. From just looking through it I think it will be helpful in teaching me about the machine and give me ideas for creating.

GREAT Detailed Book
I haven’t crafted anything yet with this book, but I have read and looked at most of the projects and I feel positive that I could do any of the projects in this book. This book gives me ideas for my own projects. Also while scanning through this book, you get access to downloading the images for this book so you can make the projects.

Its ok...
So just to keep this as short as possible, this is a decent book for those that are new to the Cricut world. Definitely has projects for people that are just starting out... and own a Cricut MAKER!! The book does comes with introductory information about different materials for the different machines. It also comes with 40 projects, like it states, to start with. But all 40 projects are for the Maker. Of those 40 in the book, just 28 can be done with the Cricut Explore and only 12 can be done with the Cricut Joy (yep...I counted!) I would definitely recommend this for those starting with the Maker, but if you have a different machine, IN MY PERSONAL OPINION, find a different book. Why buy a book you can't utilize 100%?! But thats just me...

A Well-Done (And Useful) Book
I've had my Maker for about a month and I've done quite a lot with it so far. The e-books I've found online are pretty basic, amateur and not very However I thought I would take a chance on this book. I've had the book for a couple of days and I've learned a number of useful things already from the book. There is a useful tutorial on Design Space. The rest of the book is broken out by section on materials and techniques, such as fabric, vinyl, wood, leather, etc. The most fun was the section on unusual materials, which included how to engrave bracelets. The book has been worth the investment. I do like the printed page better than an e-book. And there are lots of photographs. And it looks professionally done, compared to the many e-books I've seen.

BUY this today: Best Cricut Book Out There
I previewed this book from a friend and I didn't want to return it as page after page it's everything I need for using my Cricut Maker! Good for other models too! I've looked through other Cricut books but this is top notch. Author said first printing sold out but Amazon received more books soon after. During Covid19 isolation, this book takes the place of no-longer-held class at a craft store.
