This isn't a diet..but a yummy lifestyle change!
I purchased this book almost 2 weeks ago. since then I have tried about 10 recipes from it. The recipes are very similar to the Mediterranean recipes I've read about online. Mostly what this book teaches is to not eat saturated fats at all or limit them since these types of fats add a lot of weight to your waistline and other parts of your body. It also teaches you to eat 4/400 calorie meals per day with one being a yummy snack pack for women..men I believe can have 5/400 calorie meals per day..I've purchased the Flat Belly Diet and the Flat Belly Diet for Men and the recipes in this book are great because you can use them in lieu of the recipes in the other books to get the same result. This book has excellent and tasty recipes with a MUFA for each meal plus the calories for each meal..each recipe even includes a part about how to make it a "Flat belly meal" by adding a certain portion of another food. so far me and my husband really enjoy the recipes in this book and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Impressed
This is the second book i own in the 'Flat Belly Diet' series. Like i said in the other book review, i was very impressed with the recipes. I love the maple syrup oatmeal and the various snack recipes. As a working woman, i find it hard to find filling snacks, and i hate constantly snacking and i absolutely love the pretzels in dark chocolate. I also like the way has colour codes on the side to divide it between breakfasts, snacks, salads etc. Wonderful book, i've already cooked about 6 recipes and have not as yet been let down. Very impressed.

Great for pleasing the whole family!
This is such a great cookbook! Recipes are good and easy to follow. Food is made with both fresh and canned ingredients, but nothing is too fatty. I also appreciate how some of the recipes use cheese, sugar and butter, but in small enough amounts to make the food good, and still good for you. Nothing is too over the top or time consuming. Most recipes will appeal to the whole family, and you can make easy substitutions to make things more tailored to your needs. I have given this book to a few people and everyone who gets it finds some staple recipes that please the whole family.

some yummy meals, some very yummy desserts
I have tried several recipes from this book and like the other Flat Belly books, the meals are pretty good, the sweet treats are divine. I tried the chicken and broccoli casserole and the spaghetti with meatballs. I disagree with a previous reviewer that that these are 'gourmet type' meals. Case in point, the two recipes I just mentioned. The chicken one I will make again, the spaghetti with meatballs was a little bland. The peanut butter cookies are out of this world good- but almost too good. Very, very hard to enjoy them as the book suggests- 3 cookies and a glass of lowfat milk is a meal. The carrot cake cupcakes are also tremendous. I didn't do the orange icing because of a citrus allergy in my house but I made a little cream cheese frosting with maple syrup and topped with a few walnuts. Out of this world good. The cupcakes themselves have a bit too much sugar for my taste but that can be remedied. I also tried the oatmeal chocolate bars -they were ok but probably won't make again.

AWSOME
This is a great cookbook because it has stuff for the whole family and it comes in a large enough serving for more then just you. I love the food and beverages in this book and I recommend it to anyone who is watching what they eat but wanting to cook for the whole family.

Great Addition to FBD Cookbooks
Absolutely LOVE The this cookbook. It is filled with new recipes that are very kid friendly. My kids have already attached post-it notes to half of the recipes in the book (to mark what they want me to make). We have had the cookbook only a few days and have already made four recipes. We loved them all and can't wait to make more this weekend. It will certainly make the FBD easier for me to follow! If you a Flat Belly Dieter, you should be aware that only a few recipes give the FBD serving size as a measure (ie. 1 cup = a FBD serving). For most recipes, you are going to have to divide the dinner into serving sizes (usually 4), take out your serving and then feed your family.

Great recipes
I love these recipes! They are easy to make and all taste great. Some of the items they call for are a little hard to get, but only in a few recipes. About the "diet" part of it I'm not sure. I used it to help me lose weight after having a baby and I lost weight, but stopped around the weight I was before getting pregnant when I was hoping to lose a bit more. Not sure if that has anything to do with the book or my metabolism though.

Love this Book, Great way to enjoy "Dieting"
The whole family enjoys these recipes, and its has gotten us to change our eating habits and try new foods. The guidelines to the Flat Belly Diet are easy to follow and understand. I have highly recommended it to several of my friends! My husband and I have started to lose weight, and I have noticed our clothes are fitting a little better. We have been doing this for a few weeks, now it really doesn't feel like a diet at all.
