Brilliant! well made, sturdy. easy to put together with your little one. really works well. I'd recommend half filled with water, and only 4 pumps to begin with. Me being me, I gave it about 10 pumps and when my 5 yr old daughter pulled the string it must've hit about 150 ft or more, and nearly overshot the housing estate which was about 150 yards away from the green! Great fun. highly recommended

A good system. Definitely needs adult to construct unless over 15. Only hint is that you need 3 preferably 2 litre bottles of water as weight to hold it steady on the ground. Can’t start without them.We found about half fill rocket with water, just under. Then pump as much as you can. Already have angle at 90degrees on its scale for it to go up rather than into neighbouring garden or trees and preferably do whole thing out in a field or large park. Our rocket went up about 50 to100 feet.

you need a field and water bottles to hold base down ,water bottle to refill rocket 1/4 of the way it goes better, but so much fun for kids and adults, fire upwards it goes about 50ft! definitely need a field for this.buy you wont regret it great gift

Easy to put together, really sturdy as the yellow launch pad clips to water bottle that you provide. It was all smaller than I naively expect butbis definately as big as it needs to be. My 3 year old and I have loads of fun with, sendingbit well over the height of the house amd the rockets takes plenty of abuse so it go again and again and again. We love it!

When I was coming up in the 80s, there were these red water rockets with a tiny pump that I remember being awesome, but I was fuzzy on the altitude. This kit does not disappoint; my 6 yo boy and 9 yo girl danced in delight at the maiden flight which must have been a good hundred feet (1/3 full of water, the kids pumped the air as much as they could and then I supplemented until no more bubbles appeared). They loved subsequent experiments with angle, water level, etc - and are looking forward to many more. Coloured water? Bigger bottles? Soda? Etc.Absolutely brilliant fun for the whole family. DO IT IN A GOOD SIZE FIELD!

Bought this for school. It has so far launched around 100 rockets so I would say it’s sturdy and good value for money.I love that the adapter allows almost any typical screw cap bottle to be used. Which allowed my students to design their own rockets.The rocket provided is by far the best flyer than the students own creations and gives a really good long range of pumped up sufficiently.The pump provided is a bit small but ideal for little hands.Overall well worth the investment for helping to teach aerodynamics

This is very flimsy. The yellow tip on the end of the bottle came off after the bottle came down to the ground and then when it bounced back up and landed again the bottle smashed on the end. This means this can no longer be used as the water and the air escape. Waste of money! If the yellow cushion on the end of the bottle was more secure this would help in preventing such problems.
