Sturdy, high quality and good looking all for a reasonable price.
Liked the looks, quality and price. Hauled a large bed frame head/footboard that wouldn’t fit in the truck bed From AZ to WA (1700 miles) without any issues. Plus was rear ended in OR destroying our camp trailer and it all held tight. Drove many miles with high winds and rain no leaks detected inside camper shell. I would say it is extremely sturdy. It’s a little noisy but not excessive and that can be reduced by removing the cross bars when not in use. Removing them is the only major drawback, the squeeze mechanism to release each side of the bar is extremely stiff making it a real struggle to do. Plus lots of plastic parts in the release/ looking mechanism so don’t want to use a lot of force to remove.Lots of thought and engineering went into producing them and lots of thought went into installing them, had a mechanically minded friends help. Read all the directions, check for all the parts some are tucked inside the cross bar tubes. We pre-assembled the whole unit then carefully placed it on top of the camper and adjusted it from there. We were careful to hit the single wall outer edge of the camper as there was a double walled center section for structural integrity of the shell. The supplied bolts wouldn’t have been long enough and not sure of any compression issues associated with the double wall. All done before we drilled a single hole.Installed on a Leer fiberglass camper shellNo regrets on purchasing, good price sturdy high quality rack.

Don't buy this product, or trust this company. You will be disappointed.
This "kit" came as 2 different items, with 3 different sets of directions. This makes It virtually impossible to notice that you are missing hardware and tools. Once you get the main frame drilled on to your truck and go to install the mounts for the cross bars, this is when you will realize that you are missing a critical tool. After spending an hour machining and manufacturing your own tool to just press forward, you will get to the point that you are mounting the crossbars and find out that you are missing specialized hardware.I contacted the seller, and while they are incredibly apologetic for it, after weeks, it is apparent that they are unable to do anything to solve this problem.Their first solution was For me to return the product. That is absolutely not an option, as I had to drill holes into my truck topper that the frame is now Covering and filling.Their 2nd solution was to offer me a partial refund for me to go buy hardware that would work to put it together. That is also not an option, as it is specialized hardware, and installation of anything else will Void the warranty of the product. So, here I sit, weeks later with a frame drilled and installed on my truck topper, crossbar mounts that can install, and no way to install the crossbar. .This cost me the ability to take critical needed gear on a hunting trip that I had planned for months. Thanks for ruining my hunt With your incompetence.

Missing cross bar mounting hardware
Cutting up and attaching the tracks was is as far as I could get. My package was missing the bag for the mounting kit(QMHD05) for the crossbars. I'm waiting to hear back from the manufacturer and seller to see how I can get the missing parts.Other than that, I was able to chop the tracks easily with a miter saw.The T bolts slide along the track on the bottom, so you can drill holes on your mounting surface spaced as needed. The only line up that is needed is the end cap portion and even that is not required. This makes drilling far more flexible. In my case, I could drill around the cross brace on the underside of my tonneau cover and not have to worry about getting access to the bolt. The parts that I do have fit together well. It's a well designed kit. The longest part of the install was marking for drilling. They list a 6.5 mm drill bit to be used. I used a 1/4 and that worked out perfectly.I'm looking forward to mounting the cross bars and getting the bikes up there. Hopefully, the customer support is excellent.Update: Excellent service directly from Rhino Rack. Seller support is non existent. Good to know that Rhino Rack is ready to stand by it's products.Update: Thanks to Rhino Rack USA quickly sending me the kits, I was able to complete my install. The rack is on solidly. If you line up the towers perfectly into the bases, there's a tiny bit of play. To take the play out, offset the towers in or out of the cross bars just a hair, That'll just a hair. That'll take out that little bit of wiggle.

Easy to modify, very strong, looks great, BEST customer service
When I bought this I was confused about how to adapt it to fit my Jeep Hardtop. This is a generic kit for a pickup hardtop or a van but the instructions inside didn't really explain it enough for me. I called Rhino rack and they were very helpful. First, they have a different kit for my Jeep(!) but he helped me modify this kit to work; I cut the aluminum tracks down to size, cut the mounting studs to 25mm so I didn't hit my head on them, and used the spacing recommended in their Jeep kit instructions to drill the track mount holes. The rest fit right together. Also, in the Jeep instructions it said the weight limit is only 60lbs vs. the 250lbs rating in this kit. I asked him about that and he said the jeep top is not too strong; they had tested a standup paddleboard on a Jeep TJ fiberglass hardtop and it failed, so he recommended I tie the front of the board down to the hood, otherwise pressure on the front of the board would push the back of the board down and crack my hardtop. Though I was stressed to start with, I ended up very happy I went with this kit. It's very easy to transport my gigantic 12' SUP down to Kalipaki.

Product is great, instructions SUCKED!!!!!!!!
Product appears to be great, like the style and feels like it will haul the weight it says. HOWEVER THE INSTRUCTIONS SUCKED BIG DOG. I have similar roof rack for my Toyota cap and if I didn't have that to look at final product, I would have spent hours figuring the instructions on how to assemble.
