Very nice family entertainment 🥰
The media could not be loaded. A show stopper at our Easter party!IMPORTANT for safety and less mess:- Melt your chocolate first in the microwave.- Make sure you pour your melted chocolate with the machine on “warm”, then turn it on to move.- place a nice board or large plate under to help with the dripping and foods (like strawberries, marshmallows, cookies etc..)Make sure you don’t turn the machine off before the party ends. The chocolate will get stuck on the spiral and you wont be able to turn it on again (If someone turns it off by accident you just need to put the parts in the microwave inside of a large glass bowl, let all melt and put it back on the machine, with the help of paper towels).Towards the end of using it, Turn it off and wash everything right the way. The whole machine will be clean in 5 minutes if you have a bowl with hot water and soap.Great purchase ❤️

Love it!
It was my 1st time using and purchasing a chocolate fountain but I am so glad I purchased this. Super easy to set up/use and clean (just be sure to clean it right after you are done, don't let it sit). I did preheat the fountain for about 20-30 minutes prior to use like others recommended before putting the melted chocolate in. Be sure to level the chocolate so it flows evenly. This worked perfectly and was not noisy at all. Major hit at my daughter's sweet 16. I used with 4lbs of chocolate melts and it lasted for about 4hrs.

Worked just fine for me
I ordered the Wilton Chocolate Pro 3-tier chocolate fountain to use at my son's 16th birthday party. I was a little worried after reading some of the other reviews. But, I had the mind set that I would use it once, and if it didn't work, I'd toss it in the trash because I couldn't have rented one for the night for the price I paid anyway. I am happy to report that I had NO problem with it at all. I made sure it was level by using the attached level. That was easy! I heated it for about 20 minutes. While it was heating, I melted the chocolate chips in zip lock bags mixed with a little oil. I did not use that expensive "fondue" chocolate. I just used good old fashioned chocolate chips. I then poured the melted chocolate into the bottom of the fountain. It was melted just fine, but seemed a little thick, so I put some more oil in it. I stirred it and turned the knob and it flowed beautifully. I mean, every now and then it would "curtain" or open a little on the bottom layer, but to me that was not a big deal. I think I started out with 5 bags of melted chips, and later I added 2 more because I didn't want the chocolate level to get too low. Some other people wrote that it was loud, but I didn't think so. If you were in a totally quiet room, then yes, you could probably hear it running. But, it was not distracting at all...sort of like a fan running. My fountain ran for at least 4 hours, and there were about 60 people at the party, and we didn't have one single issue with it. I used marshmallows, pretzel rods, strawberries, and rice crispie treats with mine. It was a HUGE hit with the 16 year old girls....they went on and on about how much they liked it!! Several of the boys tried it out too, and everyone seemed to enjoy it. One hint - even with napkins and plates and long skewers, the chocolate will drip on the table. So, you probably don't want a white table cloth. What I did was use a dark blue table cloth (plastic!) and then I layed a few dark blue paper napkins around the base of the fountain. Every now and then I'd just throw them away and put some fresh ones down. That was just because I wanted it to look clean all night, and was just my own preference. But, you can expect drips. When it was time to clean up, I just dumped the left over chocolate into a garbage bag. I then took the middle pieces out and rinsed them off and put them into the dishwasher. I used a wet dish towel to wipe out the bottom. It just wasn't the horrible experience I had read about. Well worth the money I spent.

Worth the money 100% - May attract racoons
Even if ypu use this once its worth the money. I recommend finding a chocolate fanatic, and after you're done with your even letting them kick this clean. I definitely DO NOT recommend leaving this at a party because you're old and lame, and then trying to clean it when you remember its in the back of your truck. On a side note, please see my review on leather gloves as they pertain to racoon defense. (Also not recommended)Fun Factor: 100% Bringing this out is a solid hit. EVEREEEBODY loves a chocolate fountain. I cannot stress how much we all look forward to this.Cleaning: cleaning it immediately after use with hot soapy water is easy and mostly convenient. Unit breaks down into easily washed parts. Attempting to wash this weeks later while fighting off the local wildlife is somewhat more problematic.Keep the box. It stores very nicely on the shelf, and is cool to see sitting there in the garage and find an excuse to use it. Hello easy date night dinner.

WORKS GREAT ONCE IT'S LEVEL
The media could not be loaded. I never write reviews, but thought this one is worth the share. I did use 2 bags of the Wilton Chocolate Pro Fountain Fondue Chocolate (2 lbs) for 4 lbs total. I leveled the fountain...or so I thought. I heated up the base for about thirty minutes. I heated up the chocolate following the microwave directions. Once melted, I added it to the base. I turned it on to flow and thought... oh no, I know it flows better than this. Having read many of the reviews, I knew it had to be user error. I took the time and leveled it again. Through much patience with the level, it then worked beautifully. Don't give up on it...keep leveling. On the video, it sounds so much louder than it really is. The noise was not as bad as I was expecting from reading some other reviews. The one thing I didn't like... the short power cord. I had to get an extension cord to keep it on my island. I did the clean up, immediately after using, it took about 15 minutes. Looking forward to using this for many gatherings.
