I like this razor a lot.

Is this razor sone sort of joke , it’s about as sharp as a blunt stick

I have been getting smooth, comfortable shaves with this razor. It does not have a Rolls Royce level of finish, but it does not have Rolls Royce pricing, either. The slim profile of the blade holder allows a shallow shaving angle when going against the grain. The overall feel in use is very much like a traditional straight razor. Because it uses standard pattern double edge razor blades one has a wide choice of readily and inexpensively available blades. The blade must be cut in half for use, or ready-made half blades can be purchased. I would suggest that anyone who is unfamiliar with the blade loading / unloading procedure for this type of razor goes onto YouTube and searches for "Sedef razor". There are several short videos showing you what you need to know. On the example I received, the scales swung a little too freely for my taste, but that is easily resolved by peening the pivot pin. Finally, it is nice to come across a product of this type which is not made in China.

Nice and light. It's the one that Turkish barbers use. Permasharp are the blades for this!
